ABOUT ME
My name is Kian (23), I have a quirky sense of humour, and my favourite organ is the kidney (who makes regular appearances in my videos).
Should all things go according to plan I will be graduating with my MD come 2022! My goal with this channel is to share the RAW and REALISTIC parts of being a medical student through my personal experience to better inform people who are interested in medical school...or at least make you smile
I'm still learning how to make videos and I look forward to seeing how this channel IMPROVES and EVOLVES. Constructive feedback always welcome!

Just wanted to let you know how thankful I am for the videos you post. I started following your channel around the same time I first started my own path towards medicine. I really like the way you manage time. That's what makes you a real professional. Congrats. I also like the way you express the richness of professional experience you gain at the workplace. You are a smart professional. I like your blue color coffee mug. I wonder how you manage to work on such rotational shifts. Oh my God! I would find it really hard. I volunteered in an ED in California before COVID and intend to go back as soon as I can. I'd really like to go into emergency medicine assuming I won't change my mind once I'm in med school. Your videos are really informative and fun to watch. Keep it up, girl! You got this!

Great video! I haven't done my emergency rotation yet but I'm definitely looking forward to it even more now! I was wondering if you found it difficult to manage your schedule since it's one of the few rotations that require night shifts and it seemed from your video that the shifts changed quite a bit in the four weeks. I'm starting my OBGYN rotation today and I'm on 12h night shifts :( 8h shifts seem more tolerable ahah

I would suggest starting melatonin at 0.1 mg. 5 mg is very high to start at in a non-clinical population.
