Hi Anthony and Apollo X Thanks for the walk and talk x your break with Apollo is possibly just ending as it is Sunday 15th September when I'm watching this. I am an hour and 10 mins before the end but with it being so long I should of made notes lol. I think every company can have a bad batch of everything and maybe trying to improve is hit and miss but unless addressed with the company they won't know. I'm sure you have been in touch with which ever company to give your feedback as I'm sure they will appreciate it. Your holidays/wedding vacations sound like so much fun and 3 weeks would be a good break for you and why not if you have the holidays available. The feeling you want to get your own home someday soon sounds great. I think if it is like the UK the best is to get on the property ladder and work your way up. I also have several Distracted by Diamonds kits including Transformation and Two Spirit. I may have to get them out and check them again and see how they look. Thank you for your honesty it is refreshing.
So agree with you about HAEDs canvas. The images they offer are fantastic and the canvas material is really super, but the poured glue is extremely difficult to work with. You have to be a PERFECT placer, there is no way to adjust any of the drills. I have ended up getting replacement blank canvases from Francesca's too.(thanks to your recommendation)
Hi Anthony, to answer your question, John Poppleton was at Treasure Studios Art and they used mounted glue. I had issues with it too, but I’ve heard they now give the option to get poured glue. ❤
If your company has a travel department you could try booking you wedding flights through them. You can usually get a discount. I worked for a lawfirm back in the day and us "regular" folk were allowed to use them when they had available time. / I've only ever bailed on one canvas. It was a square kit from diamond dotz and the gapping was horrendous and just looking at it pissed me off. Otherwise I've powered through and used them to test recharting and other "advanced" techniques./ I'm fine with you being behind replying to comments. It just means more chatty content and I'm here for it. You'll see this after August, so I hope you have a fun and restful break.
You may need to change your and Apollo's cologne. You seem to be attracting all kinds of wildlife...bunnies, snakes, geese, and now a moose. I d8dnt even know that moose(es) were native to Colorado.
