i’m always so unbelievably happy to see you 2 coming through the haunt! you guys are amazing and so happy you caught the crazy stuff that goes on during blackout. even though i myself am an actor there i don’t get to see 95% of what goes on during that crazy night!

It also helps cushion the blow knowing that we've got Creepy Christmas and the Christmas Nightmare haunts still to come. 👻
What a crazy fun haunt. I definitely would have been screaming "scaredy cat". Y'all did a MASTERFUL job putting together this vlog. The multiple camera styles and film angles really made the vlog so good! Loved seeing some of the field crew again! Also, LOVED seeing Katie back in her shower home. Did you see Irene? haha. Can't wait to see the next one!
In all honesty, I had the advantage of knowing what was in the shots and absolutely should have belted a ‘scaredy cat’ to get out of that one 😝 Gambled and lost! I would be yelling the "scaredy cat" safe word over and over in the first few minutes LOL. I like how they start with the hayride and have a specific order. REAL cow tongues? With my luck I would have been an abducted hayride guest LOL. :O Ooou you know I'm here for the food! The brisket mmm. Ribs look good too! Love you guys but I did spend a good 90% of this video closing my eyes (yes I know I continued past the multiple warnings LOL) and just appreciating the occasional commentary and lovely screaming, chainsaw, ambience hahaha! Haha more for anyone who stumbles across the video without a context for how much more intense Blackout is, as compared to the regular season! 😂 Don't worry, deep down we are true blue scaredy cats ourselves...but it's a point of pride for us that we never 'noped' out of any of the extreme elements of the event. If one must be abducted, let him be abducted by friends, I always say! The vinegar was the worst of it haha thanks so much for braving the content to show your support, Meg! ✨
As soon as I heard you needed a safe word, I am already scared so I might have to look away a couple times in this video! I am a complete wimp! I think I would forget the safe word and just cry. Although, it seemed a little safer being locked in the cage.... I could just sit in the corner and chill in there! Ewwww you had to eat a leaf? Thats not sanitary :D I will say the food looks AMAZING but I would be much to scared to eat, what happens if you throw it up on the staff after...oopsie Ahhh wait something I can do... vinegar shot! I used to drink vinegar so I would actually breeze through that and that alone :D I was right - I was scared the entire time but thanks for taking us along and keeping composure to show us everything!
Ok hold the phone, you used to drink vinegar? 😅 Is there a story there, or just a fun factoid? Did you _choose_ to drink the vinegar? Haha that was honestly the worst of it for me, so you might be better off at an event like this than I would have expected! Definitely a more intense experience, but one that I think we really enjoyed all the same 😁 Thanks so much for braving the video, Hannah! It means a lot to us!
“Really bad” is somewhat subjective - for me being lightly tased isn’t too bad, as an example, but for others it might be horrific 😝 Blackout night is a much more intense and extreme version of the regular haunt at Field, and the waivers that visitors have to sign for this event cover a lot more than usual! We definitely came away with a few bumps and bruises…but having said that, the Field staff is trained in how to torment and terrify without actually injuring anyone. 😜 Generally speaking, the event is very safe, despite being a bit more aggressive than some are used to.
