👊 Thanks, Doug! I'm stuck at home while I recover, so I might try to burn through my editing queue! I'm crunching down the Hunter 350 Coffman's Shorty exhaust video now, and I hope to have that out today. The next in the line is the Hunter's final ride vlog... right up to the point of the accident. That last segment of the video must wait until the insurance settlements and criminal trial have concluded. So, I'll be away from two wheels until I feel well enough to ride again. In the meantime, I'll edit my 2023 Scooter Cannonball episodes and relive the "good old days!" 😉👍 --QM
You need to move down here on the Florida gulf coast, Sarasota area, people are nice and considerate. Someone will stop to let you exit a parking lot into traffic every time when it is appropriate. There is a lot of good ride directions from this area. I am hoping for maximum justice for you and max penalty for the fella that did this. make an example of a rager cager. @@QuasiMotard
@@floridasaltlife The Florida coast sounds nice... my wife would love that! I think we need to get out of Houston somehow because the culture and stress here is deteriorating so rapidly. Everyone is angry and aggressive all the time, and the crime rates are skyrocketing due to the stress and other social issues. I'm ready to move back to a smaller area with fewer people, less traffic, and a slower pace of life. 😉👍
Hope you're feeling better. I saw the Life of Burch update the other day but didn't expect any vlogs for a while. Speedy recovery and best regards to you and your family.
Just came across this video and thoroughly enjoyed it! The MPH, compass, and mini route map are SO nice. My favorite was the burger and fry stash into the storage compartment 🍔
Congrats on your new Navi! They are fun little run around bikes. Hopefully, you won't have any carburetor issues with yours... it seems to be hit or miss with the settings and quality control with these bikes. Just remember to shut off the fuel and run the carburetor dry before storing it longer than a few weeks. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Hi mate i hope your well on the mend. You mentioned about not being a vindictive person regarding the fella that could of easily killed you and my view is just that he could of easily killed you hence the family could of lost a husband, dad etc so as i see it mate if that guy ends up in prison then im sorry but you dont go around trying to harm innocent people just because they are having a bad day. Thats my view and im so glad your still with us as it could so easily have been a very different story. Look after yourself man and take care
Howdy, Rob! It's a quirky little scooter (that thinks it's a motorcycle). The fact that it's carbureted and doesn't have a catalyst means that it would never pass EU4 or EU5 emission standards. Honda could have created a much better machine with the inclusion of the newer Activa 110 or Zoomer-X 110 engines (same platform) that include EFI and catalysts in their exhausts. Those are off-the-shelf parts, so the upgrade wouldn't have added that much cost overall... maybe $200-300 USD extra? That would have resulted in a much more efficient and versatile machine. I'm actually very surprised that the Navi is allowed here in the USA with the ever-tightening regulations from our EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and CARB (California Air Resources Board). This thing smells and runs like a poorly-tuned lawn mower engine all the time! 🤣👍 --QM
Howdy, and thanks for watching! That is a standard size agricultural "tool tube" that is normally used to hold operator's manuals and tools on farm equipment. You can find them at AgriSupply.com (cheaper) or on Amazon (slightly more expensive) amzn.to/3VbRtcL . The tube's inner diameter should be 3.25-3.50 inches (80-85mm) for most 850-1000mL fuel bottles. I carry the MSR 30oz (887ml) aluminum fuel bottle in my kit. There is just enough room to hold a collapsible silicone funnel ( amzn.to/4a7ygk1 ) and a shop rag in the lid of the tool tube for easy fill and cleanup. I mounted the tool tube on the side of the factory rack with heavy-duty black zip-ties, which can be seen at the beginning of this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Rq7IB7cS6IU.html . Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Coffman's full system for rhe Grom and Monkey for only $349 they look awsome. Four color options for the tip and black or polished. The green exhaust tip would look good on your Navi. That would be a fun prototype to test and tune with. I like the stealth factor of the factory exhaust. Hope you' are doing well and on the mend.
Im doing food deliveries(Uber Eats) right now after work hours and during off days just as an excuse to go out and ride😂. Hey,i get to ride my bike and earn money delivering stuff to people, that works for me. I usually do deliveries at night when its less hectic and the temperature is cool.
Wondering if Honda quit making these because they aren't on Honda's website. I would have bought one but I already have a scooter. I did that carburetor mod on my Suzuki S40/650 a few years ago. Drilled out the brass plug, backed out the pilot screw 1/2 turn & it fixed the idle. Started easier, idled smoother & it stopped backfiring when I turned off the engine. Also went up one size on the main jet.
Howdy! Honda is still selling these in the USA: powersports.honda.com/motorcycle/minimoto/navi . The fueling on my Navi has always been wonky, but it seems to be a hit-or-miss quality control problem... maybe just bad QC on the production lines. Some owners don't have any problems with their Navi's... I guess I'm just lucky! 🤣👍 --QM
Howdy, Eric! I'm healing slowly... it's gonna be a long process to get back to "normal". I'm still stuck at home and not attempting to drive for a while, let alone get back on two wheels. That will come eventually. My new channel @QuasiRAW ( www.youtube.com/@QuasiRAW ) is a spin-off channel in its early stages right now. My plan for it is to publish my unfiltered and/or unedited content, so less worry about being "advertiser friendly" or politically-(in)correct. I'll have a bunch of content that I'll be posting over there soon... a fair chunk of the 2023 SCBR outtakes will probably end up there. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Awesome! How do you like your Kymco? Have you owned other brands of scooters to give a comparison? I've considered getting either the Kymco Like 150 or the People S150 for its larger wheels. Several riders rode Kymco and lesser-known scooter brands in the 2023 Scooter Cannonball Run, and they COMPLETED the event without any problems... that's a huge accomplishment! Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
@@QuasiMotard I've only had kymcos for scooters. Also have an xtown 300. Love them both with no problems. Only have 6000 on the like and 1500 on the xtown so far.
Thanks for the feedback! The telemetry data for the heads-up display is recorded by my GoPro Hero11 camera (and my Garmin Zumo GPS when I'm riding with it). The gauge overlay is generated using a third-party program called Telemetry Overlay: goprotelemetryextractor.com/ I stitch everything together with Adobe Premiere Pro to create the final videos. Creating the overlays is a lot of extra work, but I think the end results are worth the effort. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

24:30 Trucks are 12 volts. The only trucks, or anything else, that used 24 volts was the army trucks and jeeps when I was in the army back in the late 70s. Other vehicles like the 1.25 ton Dodge pickups were 12 volts. (318 V8s)
I was involved in a high-speed road-rage attack on the highway back in October 2024: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ryELMtEel8g.html (skip to the end of the video) . I was unable to work or ride for about 6 months, but I'm finally trying to get back to "normal" again. Wish me luck! 😉👍 --QM
Hmmm... tough question. The Trail 125 is definitely more capable all around, so that would be my pick. The Navi is a scooter that thinks it's a motorcycle, so the twist-and-go CVT is a nice way to outt around sometimes. 😉👍 --QM
@@QuasiMotard That's what I figured. I recalled you were considering selling your Trail not too long ago, I was just curious if it came down to the Navi and the Trail which one would get the nod?! I am still coming into finding a place for my Trail in my lineup and use case. I sure love looking at it, so much nostalgia, but I am simply not "loving it" when I ride it and I am not riding it enough at the moment either. I have no plans to sell it at the moment but I am not opposed to replacing it with something else in the future if I don't fall for it in the next 6-9 months.
@@texlee1640 Yep, I'm in the same boat with my CT125... just lukewarm about it. I like the nostalgia, but Houston traffic is WAAaaayyy too fast and furious to use it (or the Navi) for my commute and run-around bike. The Super Cub fares slightly better in that regard because it can maintain slightly higher speeds than the CT125, and that extra 5-10 mph can make all the difference. Another downside of the CT125 is the tubed tires... punctures spell the end of a riding day because fixing it on the side of the road isn't gonna happen here. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
@@QuasiMotard Fixing a flat isn't the end of the world but if it were to happen in the Texas summer heat it would suck indeed. The Cub definitely has a leg up on the Trail in terms of commuting but I wouldn't be caught dead on one haha. I'll be keeping my Trail until next Spring/Summer and then I'll reevaluate my thoughts on it at that time and decide then if it stays or goes. For the small amount I paid for it there's a strong argument that it's not worth unloading as the $4K I might get out of it won't go far towards anything else I'd likely buy. I'm looking at you BMW R1300 GS lol.
