Biriyani is my all time favourite comfort foodie it chicken, fish or mutton. Never had the confidence to prepare biriyanis other than our traditional malabar style biriyani. Finally got a Karnataka style mutton biriyani from my brother Shanu’s friend whose sister Dr. Sheeba Sultana was sweet to write recipe and send it over. Prepared exactly how it was mentioned and was amazing. Definitely going to make it again and again.
Since Friday had a non-veg menu, prepared a veg pasta on Saturday. I hope you all are enjoying my video but don’t forget to try these recipes which looks as delicious as it looks mouthwatering.
I know am getting late in uploading videos. I don’t get my phone or laptop to edit the videos due to kids online classes. They are happy that they are getting mommy’s working assets to study on. So I keep my editing on weekends. Hence the delay.

MUTTON BIRIYANI :
Jeerakashala rice/ Basmati rice - 1 kg
Mutton - 1 kg
Vegetable oil - 1.5 - 2 cups
Onion- 750 gms
Tomato - 4 medium sized
Green chillies - 4 - 5 slit
Ginger-garlic paste - around 1 cup ( I took a big piece ginger and 2 whole bulbs of garlic )
Cardamom - 5 pods
Cloves - 7
Cinnamon - a big stick
Curd - 1 curd
Coriander leaves - 50 gms
Mint leaves - 50 gms
Red chilly powder - 2.5 tsp
Salt
Lemon juice - 1/2 - 1 tbsp

VEG CREAMY PASTA
Pasta ( shell shape ) - 4 cups
Onion - 2 small chopped
Potato - 2 small sliced
Capsicum - 1 small
Carrot - 1
Beans - 10 chopped
Salt
Oil -3 - 4 tbsp
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp + 1/4 tsp on top
Dried oregano - 1/4 tsp
Green chilly paste - 1 - 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves - a handful chopped
Hot water - enough to cook the pasta
Mozzarella cheese- 1 cup
Dried parsley (optional) - 1/2 tsp to sprinkle on top
Béchamel Sauce -
Butter - 25 gms
Flour - 2 tbsp
Milk - 2 cups
