ABOUT ME
My name is Kian (23), I have a quirky sense of humour, and my favourite organ is the kidney (who makes regular appearances in my videos).
Should all things go according to plan I will be graduating with my MD come 2022! My goal with this channel is to share the RAW and REALISTIC parts of being a medical student through my personal experience to better inform people who are interested in medical school...or at least make you smile
I'm still learning how to make videos and I look forward to seeing how this channel IMPROVES and EVOLVES. Constructive feedback always welcome!

when you sad "it's 50% being awkward and not knowing what to do " I related so much haha this is the life of the medical student and I think we'll kind of miss this when we are the actual doctor on call and everyone is depending on us haha! Good luck on this year!!!!

Wow this is so different to how us Aussie Med Students work on the wards. For one, I've never done an overnight shift at the hospital (and I'm final year!). The benefit in the US/Canada systems seems to be you're more integral to the teams you're attached to. Whereas we act more as as observer/assistants. The cons of your system is - they work you too hard, ha!

Not a medical student but I have been working at a medical office as a technician in training and feel awkward and like I don’t know what I’m doing a majority of the time. Watching this really gave me comfort and made me realize there is so much growth and beauty in learning. Wishing you nothing but luck and rest going through the rest of your third year! it's part of our program! Once you are accepted into medical school you do all 4 years, and then you have to go through another application process to get into residency.

I’m a french med student and I’m currently going through my first week of what is equivalent to clerkship for you ! And when you said it’s 50% amazing and 50% me awkward not knowing what to do I just laughed because it’s exactly how I feel 😭 I’m like how the fuck did I even get the right to be here I don’t know what I’m doing !!!!
