For those of us with dysfunctional family lives, stress going on or just general bad life stuff, these vlogs are a glimpse of normality and I love them. I realise you're always saying nobody wants to see a boring video, but please never stop making these. They're such a comfort to myself and I'm sure to sooo many other people who live in similar situations to me. Seeing you at home with a lovely family doing normal life stuff is just SO warming xxx
Hey idk if you’ll see this but ur mum was my textiles teacher in year 7 and 8 and I was a massive fan of textiles club. I ended up leaving that school but her class was the first time I’d ever seen a sewing machine and she really was the first to inspire a love of sewing/art in me and then I went and studied fashion so big love to Mrs Booth ❤️❤️
I read that it actually doesn't work if you are applying it on your skin, you have to take the capsules. I have been doing for 2 weeks now, but I didn't have bad skin before so I can not say how long it takes to see results. (But it also helps with the lubrication of joints, and that is why i take it!)
“Patience is a virtue, virtue is a grace. Grace is a little girl who’s always in your face” 😂 I was thinking “grace is a girl that puts a smile upon your face!”
Pat your face with a little bit of water before using hyaluronic acid. Then make sure you follow up with a moisturiser. Hyaluronic acid can make your skin worse if you don't do that.
Just to add to this - hyaluronic acid is a water-based humectant which will draw water into the skin, and in order to trap water within the skin , using an oil based or any hydrophobic moisturizer will trap the moisture into your skin :)
Aw, it’s so lovely to see Banksy 😻 I’ve had cats all my life and last week, my 15 year old sweet tabby boy passed away. The house is so empty without him and I’ve been avoiding cat videos all week (not easy on the internet!) because they make me too sad but honestly, it was really nice to see you give Banksy a big cuddle and tell her you love her. Thank you Grace ☺️
HEY GRACKLE, first of all I LOVE your videos, you're defo my comfort RU-vid and you seem like the most down to earth genuine lovely person ever. I went to visit The fudge patch after you posted your video as I live 5 minutes away from greenwich market and they all said the same! I saw a video of yours a few days ago I think it was where you went to see Mamma Mia at the theatre but said you wanted to sing along the whole time, well I have a treat for you! I work at a place called 'Mamma Mia the party' in the O2 arena in London, and its basically everything you said you wanted. A four course meal, welcome drink and show included in the ticket price AND a karaoke session after every show. The tickets are a little pricey but I honestly think you'd absolutely love it (I promise I'm not sponsored or affiliated or ANYTHING I just genuinely think you would absolutely LOVE it) Ive worked there for around three weeks and am still not bored of the show in the slightest. Loads of audience participation and I've never had a complaint about it at all. Again, I SWEAR I'm not trying to sell u it or anything I just know you'd love it! Anyway if you do end up coming then PLEASE tell me when and I will make sure I'm working so I can serve you as that would be the best thing ever. My email is jlilymosses1@gmail.com if you have any questions or you do buy a ticket :) all my love sweet girl xxxxx
I love hyaluronic acid! Use on damp skin. Never had any issues with purging (that's more of aha BHA serums and retinoids). Just plump, hydrated skin. I use it after I wash my face, before I use moisturizer.
That inkey list H acid is really good, it’s better to put onto your skin whilst it’s damp, as it absorbs better. Also the inkey list oat cleanser is amazing. I’ve always suffered with my skin and the texture of it seems v scary at first but I’ve been using it for a year now with the H acid, then a really plain moisturiser, my skins never been better (cue breakout, now I’ve said that 😒😭😭)
The Ordinary hyaluronic acid is AMAZING!!! If you look at the box, it’ll tell you what order to do it in. Hyaluronic acid first, then serums and treatments, then moisturiser and finally SPF. I’ve been using it for 6 months and my skin has never been smoother and more plump. I also have skin that feels dry ‘underneath’ even though my skin is oily. The hyaluronic acid helps to draw all your serums in deeper and stop water from evaporating off the skin!!
Yass a Grack double-header! Hope Papa Booth had a lovely day… Happy Birthday to dear Father Booth. You paint, grill, and teach art to youth. You don a wide grin When The Reds get a win You’re a taste-testing legend - that’s truth!
In a bit of a funk today and am having trouble getting things accomplished. Saw your video and was like “I can do these things while watching Grace’s vid!!”. So thanks for this !!🌟
If the Levi's dont end up being the ones. I really like the Asos Design High Rise Mom Jeans. Obviously I'm not sure exactly what look you're going for but if you want ones that are comfy and in that style I really like those ones. I know the struggle, took me forever buying and trying different ones to get what I wanted.
Grack you gotta apply the hylauronic acid and then your moisturizer on top! And apply it right after getting out of the shower and after you wash your face when your skin is still damp!
Hylauranic essentially hold loads of water, so if you use it over damp skin (to prodvide water) and then put on moisturiser, the moisturiser will lock it in and will make your skin soo soft!
Hi Gracie Hyaluronic acid is nothing to be afraid of. It's just a moisturiser because it has a formula that a molecule of water (H2O) just neatly fits into, so the acid compound carries the moisturiser further into the skin. Should be no probs. Cheers
For the hyaluronic acid i use the ordinary one and after you wash your face leave it a bit damp and then put a little on your finger (adding too much can make it feel sticky) and apply it on your face :)
@@maneskinnnnn7190 it helps with keeping your skin moisturized specially during winter time if your skin gets super dry you can do what i wrote previously and put your moisturizer on top (that’s what i do and it works for me but idk if it would work for everyone )
There a certain way to use hyaluronic acid (if you believe it actually does anything, some people thing it's a bit of a marketing gimmick 😅), if you use it wrong it can dehydrate your skin more, slightly dampen your face with water after washing it then add the serum, then seal in with a thick moisturiser x
Totally agree buying jeans is the hardest thing in the world but I have the opposite problem. I find it hard to get low waist jeans because I hate if anything touches my belly button.
I hate shopping for jeans. I don’t like doing it for trousers or any bottom that isn’t a skirt, but jeans especially. They’re either too long, too short, fit my thighs, but are loose because gapping. Bought a thrifted pair online (because thrifting for jeans is even worse). They fit well, but are a bit short, but I’m taking it. Sometimes it makes me feel like I’m either too short for my waistline.
Please don’t use hyloronic acid on your face. Something gentle and plant based like Clarins is medium priced, and really good. I use that clear mascara to give it a base coat, then when it’s dry I use a regular black one. xx
I have dry and sensitive skin and have used Nivea for years, and people regularly think I am 10-15 years younger than I am ( nearly 40). Perhaps try brown or black-brown mascara instead, Max Factor Masterpiece has a good one!
Yep my grandma has used the classic Nivea creme and $4 Lanolin cream on her body, face and hands all her adult life and she has gorgeous skin. 🤔 I feel the complicated beauty routines age you faster as your skin becomes dependent???
@@breakfastattiffanys741 My skin is pretty sensitive so I figured why bother trying something more expensive that might make me break out! I also mostly use the same haircare products, that works for me too, though they are a little less affordable!
I am getting so excited about Christmas, probably because I have several children to buy for: my niece and nephew (4 and 1.5 years old) and the children I nanny (9 yr old girl and 6 yr boy). I bought some stuff over the course of the year ( namely for a summer gift that I never got around to sending) for my niece and nephew and have made a start on the children I nanny!
LOL even as an american, i am with mama booth on costco... it is soooo massive, when you go in where do you even start.. it is far too much! tell mama booth, she has an ally
If it makes you feel any better no one else really knows how to pronounce Croissant either. I pronounce it differently every time I say it so I'm confident I get it right every once in a while, and since nobody else is sure I never get corrected. Also, the recipe I use for banana bread I use for Apple Butter Bread, I just replace the banana's with apple butter (or you could use apple sauce, 1 cup apple butter/sauce per banana).
Ok you should get a lash lift!! I do them at work and they are amazing!! Your lashes will be lifted for like 4-8 weeks and they get tinted so they look dark without needing any mascara
😆 “a couple of days later” camera pans from cooked banana bread to banksy on the table with what I thought was the bottom half of a cat-eaten banana loaf. Then I realised it was a wooden candle holder! 🤣
Something my therapist pointed out to me is that I say have to and should a lot and since then I have been working to figure out why I feel like I "have to do something" is it because I want the results of doing it in which case in some ways I want to do it or is it because of outside pressures in which case I don't have to do it and don't have to feel guilty for not doing it... your having to buy jeans reminded me of this
Often exfoliating will allow hyaluronic acid, serums, moisturizers to penetrate better. Important to use gentle exfoliators, glycolic acid works. I am probably suggesting things you already know.
When you said, "I feel like we've done this before," I was JUST thinking you did the same kind of browse with Chloe. Idk if it was last Christmas or the one before.... Candles, specifically.
I'm not a fan of jeans (the material feels scratchy to me) but I love jeggings (jeans and leggings love child) & amazon do REALLY nice ones! So if you like jeggings Grace, amazon has your back!
The fact that someone as trim as you (who is probably at a guess a size 8) had to get a LARGE, just proves how messed up and unrealistic the sizing is in the fashion world. Makes me mad!!
