Hi Amanda, I think its useful to work from a cafe or a library like two days a week to have fixed days when you are away and not distracted by anyone. It also gives you fresh air outside home ❤️

Hi Amanda! I hope you’re having a good day 💗 I totally agree with your tip to wake up earlier than everyone else for those of us living with parents/at home. Its worked for me too! And having another sibling/parent who works from home helps too because we understand each other and give each other space but then also eat together and spend time together.

I totally agree with about the no kids rule at weddings. I feel like with the exception of my immediate family and their kids, there will be no kids allowed. My wedding my rules!! Also love those PJ sets, definitely gonna get them for Christmas or black Friday :)

Actually it is really insensitive and discriminatory towards parents (mostly moms) who cant afford childcare. Way to keep mothers unable to socialize

@@libelulangel And it can also be very costly for the bride and groom if the guests bring multiple children. It goes both ways but at the end of the day this is the bride and grooms wedding so if they choose not to have children then you need to respect that, or don't come period. Also, she isn't treating parents any differently from others, she is just stating ahead of time that she doesn't want kids at the wedding. Other than that they are free to come and enjoy their time at the wedding. How does this keep mothers unable to socialize? That doesn't make any sense.

Def a western adopted tradition to exclude children. As a Muslim Latina have always ascribed to inclusivity of families at parties. We are about enjoying the celebration and overlooking or having to control every aspect.

I completely understand how you feel! Before I got married I lived on my own for about 6 years too and it was a huge adjustment but what you’re feeling is normal and you’re gunna figure out what works best! ☺️ also definitely getting up earlier before everyone helps just like what you’re doing! I do that at home too because I have a 1 year old and it’s hard working from home with her sometimes lol.

Does this mean your niece wouldn’t be attending your wedding ? I understand what you mean but I’ve been to a wedding that was intended for families to attend without their children. They found it difficult in regards to sitter’s, especially that if the parents come who will look after the kids, some found it disappointing. For my wedding I made sure there was extra entertainment for children. That kept them busy

I am not even engaged but I 100% agree with you, no children at my future wedding. I just don’t think it’s the best place for kids and they often get bored which is why they run around the venue. When we were kids, our parents only brought us to weddings of family members because my cousins were gonna be there and we would have our own table and often a room dedicated to us so we were not bothering the bride and the groom while still having fun together. Kids want to play, and that’s totally normal and I personally think they get bored at weddings.

Hi Amanda, i totally agree on the no kids rule. I live in Belgium and had a moroccan wedding and since a couple of years its kind of a tradition to write on the invitation that kids are not allowed 😂 so that means that only the kids from close family are coming. And if you forget to put it on the invitation, they will bring all the kids 😂

2 days back I went to a wedding, and I thought if I would have been the one to manage the wedding and stuff, CHILDREN won't be invited. It's a such a pain. I thought I would set up a play area beside the wedding hall and children will be limited till that.

Love your vlogs always but I am taken a little aback about your decision for not inviting kids to your wedding especially when you said about Middle eastern weddings. It’s your wedding your decision but it just hurt my feelings. I know you are so family oriented and your are loving and caring towards Elaina, your sisters baby . Just a side note , if someone doesn’t invite my kids , I am not gonna be part of your celebration. As you can see I have kids, so this is my opinion. But I know it’s your day , you get to do whatever makes you happy . Enjoy

When we don’t want to invite children we say on the invitation in the PS section.. “جنة الاطفال منازلهم” which literally means “homes are children’s heaven” .. and its commonly understood that it means “don’t bring your children please”😅😂

People will still bring kids. They do not think they have to list them out. They all cant get siters. You need to hire someone to entertain them in a small room. Balloon creator etc.

On iPhone you can share your location with other iPhone users. That person can then go to your contact in their phone and look at your last reported location if you have your location services turned on in settings.

Do white, champagne, with gold accents! That would be so pretty!!! And good job on not inviting children!!!! They ruin weddings and don’t belong there! Rarely do parents parent enough to keep them well behaved enough for a wedding. And I’d they do, speaking from experience, then the parents miss out on the wedding! It’s just so silly that people want to bring them! 🤦‍♀️
