What to do if your dog gets skunked! DO NOT GET THEM WET!! Water seals the skunk oil secretion into the hair follicle & your pet will smell for wks or even months. INSTEAD make a paste with baking soda & shampoo or dish soap.. Apply this mixture liberally onto your pet DRY & let it sit for about 30 mins, then it is okay to rinse. FUN FACT: Skunks can spray up to 10 ft & can spray as many as 6 times in a row!!!

I love how you were able to make the most of the fiasco even though it just kept getting worse. I would give up by the first situation with the skunk.

our dog got skunked and it was the worst! If you leave bowls of vinegar it absorbs the odor in the house. I think we also left baking soda on furniture that could not be washed and it helped get the odor out of the house!

I am so sorry Finneas. I know my music equipment is not even close to what you have but if that happened to me I would be crushed. I hope that you can save most of your stuff and that nothing got ruined.
