I've been looking for one for SO long! Especially in larger sizes. I've only seen some vintage big 4 on Etsy.

Totally agree. I don't wear proper shorts anymore, but the skort is a good solution for me as an over 60 woman.

I’d love a skort pattern as well, for me it my tummy, I can wear shorts but have to have a longer top! If I could make some Skorts I’d be happy as Larry! 😊

Teva's remind me of my Peace Corps days when I served in Uzbekistan twenty years ago. All the Peace Corps volunteers had them. These platform ones are a tad bit fancier. 😊

Oh yes, the pressure to sew for a particular day/trip/event! I want to finish a dress for a party next weekend so I really only have this weekend and Tuesday (a public holiday here in Aus) but I am procrasti-watching all your videos I've missed recently 🤣 Love the thumbnail! 👍 The wide leg linen pants look so good, and I have to go watch your thrift flip vid - love the top and wrap skirt plus the floral Calvin dress 😍 I like your platform Tevas - I will see if we have them here!

You are so talented. Making your own clothes is so freeing. I like the skirts and dresses the best. They look so good on your hourglass shape, feminine, soft and beautiful..... I like to wear slip under skirts or dresses. They are modest and comfortable. I hate to wear bike shorts or any type of tight shorts in the summer. It took out the easy breathy right out of wearing skirts and dresses.

I want those terracotta pants!!! I have made many of the Byrdies. They are essential now! My two faves have been lengthened to duster lengths without buttons! I love them!!

I do love those pants! They are so comfy, too. I actually accidentally washed my Byrdie with those pants and now my white Byrdie is PINK. I might need to make another one soon! Love the duster length idea!

I get so much linen/linen blends there! Definitely my go-to! They also have a tissue linen blend that I LOVE and have bought many, many yards of :)

You are so lucky to have a good JoAnn Fabric where you live. I know I've said this before but here in NC my JoAnn is geared toward quilters. If I find a bolt of rayon tucked in between the flannel section I get excited.

I was frustrated with the colors ( or lack of) of the linen blends at Joann which is my only option here in Dallas( can you believe?) so I ordered some linen rayon blend from Dharma. I got 12 yards to experiment with dying.

I hope you had/are having a great trip! Super excited for the dress pattern, I haven’t seen anything like it around!! I wore my Brigit tee for the first time yesterday, paired with a Closet Core Crew Sage skirt, it was the perfect low-key but put-together outfit for work and after-work drinks with a friend! I’ll definitely be making more.
