I found you through youtube recommendations and I'm so glad I did!! I'm a fellow book lover, crocheter, and (former) english lit student. I enjoy videos like this because I can put them on and it feels like I'm crocheting with a friend. (I have a lot of trouble maintaining friendships partly because I am autistic and have adhd. Socializing in traditional ways can often be a challenge for me). So videos like this are nice. Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and let you know I'm happy to be here for the journey. I just found your channel and I am so excited!!! A dog mom that crochets, that’s the best🥰. I am a beginner crocheter, made my first project (a throw), and am starting my second project (a cotton halter top). Car girl here to answer your question: mainly because it improves the driving experience. Adding mods and deleting other parts to a car can increase the sound a bit while simultaneously increasing the horsepower. Thing is most car people also like to hear the car that they're driving while driving fast. So it's fun. Car enthusiast etiquette says to be careful while driving in a parking garage because the vibrations can set off car alarms, but if it's a cold start it sometimes happens. Heck, I've done it by accident in a normal parking lot. So the setting off of alarms is something that the majority of us try to avoid, but it can be tough to do.

Also, while no one needs a car that loud some of us enjoy it. Just like no one needs a dozen crochet stuffed animals yet crocheters enjoy it. We really shouldn't be yucking someone else's yum without fully understanding it.

Enjoying your variety of patterns! Enjoy crocheting with your vlogs🧶 Loud cars in our neighborhood get annoying especially on the weekends 🙄 No purpose except to show off! I was just looking at the cute goose & thinking - I need that cutie! A friend’s granddaughter wants a red pig squishy - no problem. But her grandson has asked for a green porcupine ! 😅 In. Yarn. Oh help! Open to suggestions! Our youngest doggo gives the best side eye - especially when Mama’s crocheting & not petting him🐶 A few weeks ago, my son in OKC rescued a cat off the street. Beautiful ginger & cream boy that is super loving & playful. Vet thinks Finn is 7-12 months old & a great roomie. Every cat & dog we’ve had for the past 35 years have been strays that have shown up or been dumped on our property. They melt your heart immediately 🩵

The short version of the acorn reminds me of a turnip! Maybe you could do a pattern mod like you did with the duck! It follows the animal crossing theme 😍

Love your video’s! :) really enjoyable to watch :) also as a dutch person i always get confused and have a laugh at myself with acorns hahaha. In Dutch the world for squirrel is eekhoorn, which you pronounce the exact same as acorn hahaha. The acorn itself is in dutch called eikel, which translates to d*ckhead hahahah. So im always confused when someone says “im crocheting an acorn” bc at first my mind always goes to a squirrel hahaha
