We have the same Breville machine and we alternate espresso/coffee beans because we got told once at a coffee shop that it doesn't matter. Espresso beans are just a TYPE of coffee! If you use coffee beans you'll get the most similar flavour with a dark roast coffee. We stick with espresso beans however because they are the least acid with the most body/flavour. I also find it hard to get crema/perfect shot with normal coffee beans so it may just take some time to figure out what's best. Someone also once told us espresso beans hold up best to the pressure! Hope that was kinda helpful!! We stick with espresso beans because I don't have the energy to experiment😂

You can use any coffee bean in the espresso machine! I was confused at first as well and thought I had to buy espresso roast! Lol. But espresso roast is typically just a very dark roast. I prefer medium roasts in my espresso machine :) Stumptowns light blue bag makes such a good coffee!

I love the day to day vlogs you do! Love seeing anything and everything! But any category of what’s in my closet would be awesome to see! Bags, shoes, activewear, even sweats! Also I go through the same dilemma with coffee beans- espresso or regular? I recently learned espresso is just a finer grind- where brew coffee is a coarser grind- so any bean works! My husband and I like dark coffee but usually espresso is too dark for us ❤

You can use any coffee beans for espresso - I personally like a lighter-medium roast instead of the typical darker roasts they usually do for espresso beans. The fresher the beans (good coffee usually has the roast date on it and you want to brew it asap from the roast date), the better tasting coffee. Always store your beans in an opaque (can't see through), airtight container at room temp.

You can use whatever beans in the machine! I have the same one. You should try ordering the Blanchards blend from Blanchards Coffee! It’s my favorite besides the Alfred’s bean :) you’d have to order from their site

The house is beautiful but I feel like it’s too big for just you, Dylan and the dogs. Maybe buy a condo or small house that you can do renovations to while you still have the rental townhome! It becomes an investment property, instead of buying or renting an overpriced house that’s just been renovated.

The difference in regular coffee beans and espresso is how fine/course the grind is. Course grind for cold brew, medium for regular coffee and fine for espresso.
