Definitely a dinner for the books! If I could have changed one thing, it would have been the laryngitis 😂 otherwise a flawless and magical experience with our favorite travel buddy!

Seems very similar to WDW. The cast members that work there are so magical. Katie you killed this narration! It’s dark & chaotic in there and you still nailed it. We didn’t get to eat because we were going to O’hana after but that food looked amazing. We def experienced atleast 4 Uh Oa’s during our short visit there. Hope we can all try this in WDW some day , it’s definitely better with a group!!!
I know you guys know how dark and chaotic Trader Sam’s is from your own videos, be it West or East coast 😂 Katie definitely did a great job taking point on the narrative for this one! Fully agree, too, that this experience is much better with a group as opposed to a couple. One day, guys, for sure!
Tim I love your reaction to the drink!! It looks so good in there, the theming is amazing! Love how the cast members really get involved too! I have never been to a Trader Sams but this makes me really want to go there one day! ^_^
You would love it, Hannah; a bit like being in the West Wing of the Be Our Guest restaurant, really! The 'Uh-oa' was strong, but it was mostly the excess of cinnamon that really kicked my taste buds into gear....thanks to Katie throwing so much of it into the fire! 😂 Thanks for watching!
I’ve always wanted to try Trader Sam’s! I haven’t tried the one in WDW either yet. Those drinks look like SO much fun. I think I would need a souvenir mug 🤣 it’s cool you could drink them poolside but I would rather the theatrics hahaha! The thunder and lightning is so fun! The Uh-Oa looks so cool, I loved Tim’s face when he tried a sip hahaha! That poke bowl looks lovely. I love potstickers, yum! I think I would have to try the Uh-Oa, fire, lightning, scary sounds? To be fair, the Uh-Oa might have packed a more palatable punch if Katie hadn’t have thrown the entire restaurant supply of cinnamon into the fire during the chant 😂 We considered getting the souvenir mug, but in the end we decided that we’d have a hard time getting it home in one piece. Amazing video! The drinks look sorta similar to the ones in WDW, but there are different ones that are interactive it seems. The Uh-Oa is one of my favorite interactions, but I prefer the Krakatoa Punch as a drink. I was tempted to try this when I go out in September, but it seems very similar to the one in WDW, so I might skip it. Thanks for the awesome video!
It’s funny that we’ve now experienced the Enchanted Tiki Bar across the country, but never Grog Grotto in the much-closer WDW! 😂 Glad we could help inform your decision(s) and plan your trip! We actually weren’t able to secure a reservation heading into our trip, but we lucked out as one opened up with less than 24 hours’ notice! Highly recommend looking into the ‘MouseDining’ website where you can set up free email alerts for reservations you want when they appear - that’s how we got ours! 😁 Thanks so much for watching!
Do you happen to have a price range for their drinks? I tried looking online to get an estimate of the prices because I’m going there in a couple of days with some friends and one of my friends asked how much the drinks were and I couldn’t give them a price range, because know where I can find that information.
Hi! I know what you mean, they seem to hide the pricing of their signature cocktails until you’re in the bar making impulse decisions 😂 I believe most of the drinks were $14-$18 (without souvenir Tiki mugs) although the UhOah we ordered was more expensive bc it was a massive drink meant to be shared. It’s been some time now since we popped in and things may well have changed since, but hopefully this gives you an idea!
