I absolutely love your longer videos. I enjoyed the variety of this one and seeing different locations of your house. I always wish you showed more of Liam but after seeing some of the comments I understand the feeling of needing privacy and to "hide" him (aka protect your family). I've been mind-blown since day one how many people have felt the need to comment about him on your videos. I have 6 kiddos and it never once occurred to me that there was anything negative... about his growth, how you raise him, etc.. I'm a mother of 6 and I know well that they all do things differently at their own time. I truly mean it when I say this, I think you're a great mom Mindy! Better than most. Keep being you! Oh 💯, I use the week pill boxes whenever I have to take something, even if it's antibiotics for only a week lol It is ceazy to me that people who see like less than an hour of someone's life and feel they know everything about it. Also not gonna lie the book sounds so close to real life it sounds boring to me. But I'm committed and will be reading along with ya! Hopefully I'm proven wrong lol
I am a nanny who looks after 2 girls full time, I came into their lives when the youngest was 7weeks old and she has been so ahead with her milestones that scare me to death. She walked at 7 months, run at 11 months and now skips and jumps as a 2 year old but she is only 17 months old. Arrh.

Mom shaming is wild! My first was a premature baby and he was delayed on walking and talking and pt and speech was amazing. Every baby is so different! My two girls were early with everything 😂❤
That was so cute when he covered up your mouth when you were singing to him! You can tell how much love you have for that baby. Don’t worry about anything anyone says when it comes to your parenting. You and Larry are doing great and are great human beings! ♥️
Here’s the name of parents do not realize. Each kid develops at their own paste. You can have a kid that starts walking at eight months old. And then you can have your second kid that does not start walking until they’re 14 months old. Does anything is wrong with a kid. Each kid learns differently at their own paste. Some kids just take longer to learn there’s nothing wrong with that. And you got some kids can learn really quickly. But do not compare your kids to other kids that you have or other peoples kids. You don’t want somebody doing that to you so I don’t do it to other people or other peoples kids. You didn’t start at six months. Because maybe one person doesn’t mean everybody else has to do it. We all learn things as a different rate take longer and learn faster. There’s nothing wrong. We all made differently. Our brains are not wired the same way and that is OK. We don’t do everything the same way if we did we be robots. We’re not all robots we’re human beings. We all have emotions and feelings. If you’re gonna say something mean think twice and how would you feel if somebody said that to you. Your family member wouldn’t like it, so don’t do it to other people.
You could do everything possible for your child and still not be successful. Like you said, it will happen in their own time. It’s no one’s business, but your own.
My second son didn’t walk until a week before his 2nd Birthday! We had him in therapy too. All kids develop at their own pace, it’s so sad when everyone is so judgemental!
Our oldest daughter didn’t walk til 16 months old. So she had therapy as well. Shes 16 now super smart, responsible and kind. Going for her license next week!! Best wishes to you all!!

My daughter was 18 months when she walked on her own. She always had to hold on to the furniture or your hand for security. My son was walking at 11 months. Every kid is at their own pace and that’s okay. They are 19 and 15 years old now and both doing wonderfully. Have a good day Mindy! ❤️😊👍
My husband tells me all the time I need to get one of those pill day of the week boxes with the number of times I've forgotten whether I've taken my morning pill or not. I haven't doubled up on it though, I just accept that I might be skipping a dose because it's not a big deal with what I'm taking.
I know the feeling about forgetting that you already took your medications, I deal with the same thing, because I tend to be tired when remembering that I take my meds at night and not in the morning. I love how he's like "stop singing mom." LOL!

Mindy...this may sound sad...but Liam asking to stop singing reminded of a precious memory with my dad. The night before he got his wings, I went to see him, he was lying in bed very weak. I asked him if he wanted me to sing to him & he said yes. So, I sang Summertime...a song I always sang to my son when he was little. My dad smiled really big when I was done. I asked if he wanted me to sing it again & he shook his head no! Makes me laugh & smile every time I think of it. 💕

He really didn’t need therapy the Drs. Like that now. They listened and she just took off one day, it was her time her way and the little one walks fine! Love you guys! You all seem like a fantastic family! He’s a lucky baby! Also, I’m a mom of four! They potty trained from it taking one week to one was the hardest so I let him be and was 2.5 my Dr was great and said he’ll poop in a toilet when he’s ready not To push him, he did!
I saw another video where a girl posted this pill bottle cap she bought on amazon and it has a timer on it. The idea is each time you take a pill i think you reset it so you know if you took it or not.

Little tip that works for me when i take pills - a say a random weird word while taking it. It helps me to remember that i actually took the pill. It goes the same with locking the doors.
This is why I'm so excited for the HBO max show! I'm really hoping we get a more accurate depiction of the stories. I actually am a rare case....I don't care for the movies. I've reread the books so many times but the movies just don't do it for me.
My grandson was born a month after Liam & he was also a late walker. My youngest son didn't walk till he was 16 mos. Kids do things in their own time. Liam is perfect. Ignore the internet clowns.
I am reading The Art Thief from Larry’s book reads and it’s really good, very fascinating. I also will gravitate to those things that make me feel safe or cozy when I am feeling vulnerable or fragile in different seasons. I just was thinking man, if my daughter experienced all the opinions and criticism over everything from putting some of her life on RU-vid that you do, I just would be hugging and loving on her so much (which I know you have in your life) but you tugged on my mama heart strings as I have a daughter your age and grand babies who both have been slower in one way or another in development but both have caught up in their time. There’s so many good things we have to help us with our children now but also so many “noises” with our culture and social today that can cause such stress. So, a big hug to you and enjoy your all things Harry Potter as you need!

Saw Mindy’s Instagram story sharing a negative comment about her “hiding” Liam and people talking down about him?? 🥺 (hence the dumbo reel), and more shaming about her not sharing more of his life?? I haven’t looked through these comments but that’s just crazy to me!! He was like… the star of this video. Do we NEED to see his face in order for her not to get shamed for “hiding” him? Ugh! And she mentioned his therapy. What more do people “need” to hear? I love that she wants to protect him. He’s a baby, but he has rights too and he’s not old enough so she’s advocating for her baby! Mindy you’re a fantastic mother. God gave Liam to you and Larry for His own perfect reasons… I am so glad you don’t let the negativity change your mind. We don’t need to see his face, we knows he’s beautiful! And we don’t need to know every inch of his life. He’s a blessing to us anyway! The little Liam moments and blurps you share with us are plenty! Just seeing him put his hands over your mouth was so heartwarming and sweet (and funny) and I love that you shared that moment with us. Just got the book for this month! Super excited to read with everyone. Also as a mom it's really easy to get caught up in what other people say about you, and even your own parenting expectations. I can't imagine how it feels to do that on a platform as a first time mom! I didn't walk until I was 17 months and my Dad didn't walk until he was 2. Both of us are just fine and are neurotypical. My dad is a doctor and has a degree from Cambridge. Don't listen to people who push kids to reach milestones before their ready. There are many different routes up a mountain!
I really hope that this video finally explains to the people who love to mommy shame or give expertise advice to Mindy and Larry will finally Stop! Just because we may do things a certain way with our own children doesn't mean it's the Right way, first and foremost! Some of the comments l've read weren't even about milestones, it was really rude, absolutely frightening and talked about lil' Liam having some sort of crazy disease l've never heard of! I would have been very Upset, absolutely horrified about getting my child to the closest hospital or just freaking out, especially being a first time mother. For everyone who subscribes to Mindy's channel, it would have been very obvious from the beginning if Mindy and Larry were not parenting properly, Liam looked as if he was suffering terribly, crying 24/7, no weight gain, not reaching any milestones and the list goes on and on. I believe the majority of people would agree with me, Mindy and Larry are great parents, very active, very present and the care that little man gets is perfection. It just isn't a nice thing to make these awful comments that are simply uncalled for. We see Liam, always clean, dressed adorable, eating healthy, talking, walking, exploring, laughing, smiling crying, teething and his needs are being met 100%.....? Most of these things are not filmed....we get to see him and he's healthy folks. Mindy and Larry are the parents and they make the decisions, they are his guardians and it is their right! Let's just continue to enjoy this channel, allow them to share what they feel is appropriate. Most of us just enjoy the positivity that we get and just feel blessed they continue to invite us into their home, we love the entire family and we still see the lil man and hear him talking, laughing, playing and he's just a doll! Just cause we have a app or snapchat Instagram or whatever social media doesn't mean we have to post everyday or post every min it's ok not to post something it's ok not to share a piece of ur life out in public .my dad taugh me that u don't need be talking to someone everyday or post something everyday. That's nowadays people r making it into and cough forbird if so and so doesn't post its always something or they all gotta judge each other. They like to make fun of people when they never know that person is dealing with something outside the cameras or not. Social media was the worst thing..
I wonder if you have adhd it really seems like it your a lot like me and I was diagnosed in my late 20s and take meds for it now and it’s life changing! Also…. Med box helps a lot! And zofran can dehydrate you and make you feel loopy so careful with that could trigger migraines or feeling yucky even tho it helps with nausea
Mum of 4 here and mine walked from 10 mths to 18 mths and all are doing great now as adults. Babies are just sometimes cautious and thats a great skill . Sending the biggest hug ever to you both and Im so sorry you were ever made to feel you are not the greatest mum. You are doing amazing

Mindy, you`re the sweetest most caring woman, wife and mother ever. The fact that someone would second guess you and give you a hard time when it comes to how you follow up Liam is unbelievable. You`re totally trustworthy, in everything.
I have 4 children of my own and my husband has 4 all boys and all of them and still are doing things at a different rate. My oldest was born disabled so he definitely did things differently and at different rates but all kids and ADULTS for that matter do things differently and at different rates etc. there are adults out there that mature at different times and rates and some that simply don’t. We are all individuals with our own unique abilities

My son is nearly 15months and been furniture walking since 10 months.. he is afraid to let go too.. when did u start to think about or pit into an action to help him out? I know all Babies are different but it’s hard not to stress and just want him to be able to get around easily
Mindy, my sweet love. I'm about to be mama of 4 in a few months. Give yourself so much grace when it comes to being a first time mom. And this goes for any other subscriber: if your child is loved, fed, cared for and nurtured, YOU are doing everything right. Milestones=statistics. Just because your little one is not in the 90th and up percentile of the milestone, does NOT mean they're behind or something is wrong. They're just taking their sweet little time and enjoying the moment! ❤ they are THE epitome of stopping to smell the flowers. Maybe we need to do what they do sometimes. My son did not walk until 26 months. But his verbal was very advanced. Wouldn’t be able to tell either once he started Kindergarten since they all tend to level out. Everyone’s journey is unique. Just as God made us.
Ignore the mean and rude comments! People need to worry about themselves! My cousin has speech delays he goes to speech therapy and so far he’s doing amazing! So he does have sign language of what he wants and needs
Its that fine line with people. A percentage lose a grip on whats actually a problem and whats not their beeswax. Kids everywhere are being dragged through the ringer to extremes no one wants to see. If the worst they can do is accuses you of is maybe missing appointments they are idiots. Its about their deficiency not yours.

All my sons walk at 9 months my daugther walk the day before his first months. My Last son walk at 14month.he was not ready. All baby's all different. They way when they are ready. You are a good mother. 😊
