Being close proximity to a dog park is very convenient to training and socializing with other dogs. Train the puppy simple things at a young age. Especially obedience with treats, simple commands, and for it to recognize it’s name.

Love your enthusiasm. We selected a new Golden last week and she comes home in two more weeks. I retire next year so I'm looking forward to getting out for long walks with her.

@@RaquelKooi, absolutely! We still miss our Baloo after she passed in 2014 at the age of 14. She travelled the world with us (living in NC, Tokyo, Shanghai and Ontario) and converted so many people into dog lovers.

I'm sorry for your loss, but be ready to be surprised in the future. My mother always kept German shepherds, and when her last boy had to be put down, she said she'd never want another, but if she did it would be a shep. Cut to now, 20 years later, and she's asked a family friend for one of her pups when they're born (due to come home at Christmas), a dachshund. If there aren't any we like, she's going for a poodle instead

WHY WOULD YOU BUY A BED FOR THE PUPPY THATS WAY TOO SMALL THEN LEAVE HIM IN THE SMALL CAGE WITH THE BED WHERE HE HAS NO ROOM TO MOVE AROUND. WHEN YOU GET A PUPPY USE COMMON SENSE THE PUPPY IS A BABY HE IS GROWWWWWING NOT GETTING SMALLER. WHY WOULD YOU BUY A BED AND A CAGE SOOOO SMALL. YOUR FOCUS IS YOU TUBE INSTEAD OF THE PUPPY AS YOU HAVE HIM SQUEEZED IN THE CAGE WITH THE BED SO HE HAS TO ANGLE HIS BODY IN AN UNCOMFORTABLE WAY. TOO CHEAP TO PURCHASE PROPER SUPPLIES AND TOO FOCUSED ON TAKING PICTURES OF HIM FOR YOU TUBE. WHY DON'T YOU GET IN THAT CAGE AND TRY TO FIT AND TRY TO GET SOME SLEEP PROPERLY. ITS AGRAVATING TO SEE THIS TREND WHERE PEOPLE ARE GETTING THESE SMALL LAB AND RETRIEVER PUPPIES AND FOCUSED ON YOU TUBE RATHER THAN LOGIC AND COMMONSENSE.

I appreciate your concern! I always know that my dog should feel comfortable and not restricted. As he has grown, we have continued to buy new and bigger beds for him. As for his kennel, Bronco loves it, it’s his safe space. We leave the door open so he can go in and out of it as he pleases. This specific crate is made for large dogs and has the capability to expand as he grows. I love Bronco with or without RU-vid, he always comes first🙂
