Man, we're the same age! It does seem that when you get closer to the beach, where people can't comfortably cover up their bodies with layers of clothing, people are more active and at least look healthier. To me, this is much more how humans are meant to be. I don't know what's worse--living in a tent in Hawaii and getting a gym membership for showers or living in a place where it's too cold to enjoy being outside on most days. Both seem almost equally as bad to me. Maybe the tent would be worse because of the lack of security and likelihood of riff-raff neighbors.

As I already mentioned, pleasure to watch all these different Hawaii location through your vlogs :) And your new little lens with that ultra wide aperture really helps to capture the scene - even at F4 ;) :) I have great respect you pumping out these vlogs daily for a week. On the other hand your son is much older then my two little girls :D :P

You know what? I would not recommend doing daily vlogs haha. I'm only doing it because these types of Vlogs don't do well for me on my channel. I just want to get them all out of the way :P It really sucks because I prefer this type of content.

Yeah the whole black and white thing was something I thought of because the videos were getting a little monotonous. Crazy how just changing a small detail like that can liven things up. It was one of those trips of a lifetime things haha. Here’s the thing. I didn’t even want to go 😱

Noi, congrats on 2K subs 👏 All your footage wants me to invest in a full-frame 😂 Also, let's gooooooooo fro 2024 getting in shape 💪, you go this! I figured we must be close to the same age, I turned 50 in October...so now more than ever we have to fight atrophy (hahaha). Hawaii is a great place to visit, but I would go a little crazy with the same weather year round. I personally like the 4 seasons.

Place is just phenomenal. Didn't expect there to be homeless people there for some reason. Guess poverty and drugs are in all corners of the of this rock we are on

Yeah, it's just like any place I suppose. I think mental disabilities factor into it as well. Perhaps some people don't know how to get a job or a home. They just have to keep living the best they can. I will say, however, that if I was ever homeless. I'm moving to Hawaii for sure.

hey noi, thanks for another vlog ❤ can you make a tutorial on making a cinematic vlogs like you do? coloring and stuff. I want to record and edit beautiful memories cinematically like yours. you look great for your age my brother don't obsess about it though. my lowest point was when I was shredded all six pack and etc. Balance and harmony in all things is now what I believe. Yoda came out with that last sentence 😂 bless you and your family ❤

Hey man, just stumbled upon your channel and subscribed! I like your vlog style and your color grading is dope. I have a Sony mirrorless as well but I'm looking to get a new lens - out of the lenses in your video links, which one would you say is the most versatile/do-all? Cheers from Cali

Hey Jake. Thanks for the comment and sub. Appreciate it. Best all around lens for my APSC cameras is the Sony 16-55mm F2.8. For full frame it would probably be the Sigma Art 24-70mm F2.8 DN. Even though I don't have this lens I like the specs a lot. Do you plan on vlogging your face? If so I would just get a very wide prime. What camera do you have?

48!? You're don't look a day passed 47! Kidding of course... I thought you were my age if not younger. Over the winter I've grown my beard out, so at 44, people think I look around... 154. Yet, if I were ever to have a completely clean shave, which I don't, I think I look more like a 12 year old--which probably matches my maturation level.

@@noisackda2564 That's wild, I was going to guess viltrox 16mm F1.8. I'm between that and the sigma 10-18mm f2.8 for travel lens. Use a 12-24 F2.8 rn but want something safe with front screw filters on sony a7iv

@@flyfastmedia The 10-18 is a solid choice but it is an APSC lens. Totally workable if you zoom in 1.3% but it can sometimes be a hastle. The 12-24 is godly lol but yeah the fact you can't afix a normal filter on the front is a no bueno for me.
