I'm an old lady but Halloween has been my favorite holiday my entire life. In the early 70's the decorations were few but everyone had a jack-o-lantern or two on their porch. We always got tons of candy and one older lady handed out home-made popcorn balls. We watched It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Something Wicked This Way Comes, and Escape From Witch Mountain. And yes, we had those awful costumes with the plastic masks. It was magical!! Great vlog! 🧡👻🖤🎃
Oh my gosh your childhood memories are from 2012. lol. Mine are from the late 70's. I remember when our blow mold jack'o'lantern buckets were larger and the more elongated style and I had a skull bucket too. Those need to come back. Would have loved to see you do your drac make-up and what you used. You are so handsome!
Loved the Talk & Treat segment, we have so many of the same Halloween memories! I cannot wait to see more of your slightly spooky wedding, if you choose to share, and these vlogs are so much fun to follow! It's a much needed fall boost for a ghoul living in Florida where it's 90 degrees forever lol
I loved your Talk or Treat segment! That's such an original & creative way for you to not only share but engage with your viewers! It was nice to hear about those special Halloween memories! 🎃
Epic video, Jack! So good. Congratulations on your marriage & the costume contest win. I think you could look into modeling as a second career. The house looks fabulous. What more can I say. You two are winning at life! May your love, health, & happiness be this strong forever❤
I so loved this the memories you shared were awesome and you need to do that more often Congrats on Winning your costume was fabulous. Thanks for sharing this I am truly enjoying it
Congratulations on that blow mold it is remarkable. Love the books. I have the little woman book from many years ago. We had popcorn balls we made them and the neighbors made them and had them out. In the early 60s. Other candies were squirrel nut zippers and Mary Janes. The Salem sweater is BOOtiful! 👻🎃💀
You are about the same age as my kids and they loved all the same books! It brings back so many memories! Also, I just went to Salem a few weeks ago, and it was so much fun! You will love it! 🧙♀️🐦⬛
: : Jack, thanks for this video. It was so fun. I was born in the 80s & was read popcorn every Halloween as a child. I kept it & read it to my child as well. Love that you know about that book! A true classic. Thanks for the great content. 🖤🤍🖤🤍 : :
Hey Jack I truly enjoyed your first episode of vlogoween looking forward to the next one and Congratulations to you and Ryan on your marriage may you and Ryan have a lifetime of love and happiness together oh and congratulations also on winning the costume contest and I’ll be trying to wait patiently for the next weeks episodes 😊
CONGRATULATIONS!!! What a nice surprise. I always loved being a kind of slutty vampire. I carried a jar of tomato juice with a straw. The decorations are fabulous. We decorated paper bags for trick or treating.
I am so glad I found you last year. This video is so great. Just a great job of setting it up and such fun subject content. You deserve such a bigger audience!! You are the best Halloween content person on youtube if you ask me. Excited for the next video. Happy Halloween season Jack and wanted you to know my husband is 76 and I am 65 and we just had the Tyson Spooky Nuggets the other night with our 3 year old grandson and we loved every fun minute of it! 👻🦇🎃
AWWWW! I hated for it to end. Jack, this was Everything - you are HALLOWEEN!!! and SUPER CONGRATULATIONS🥰 👻to both of you on your marriage union (i noticed your wedding ring) I hope you televise your wedding ceremony on youtube, too. I love the book sharing, it would be nice if you could read one of your childhood books from beginning to end, I was really getting into the one where all the monster were pulling the pumpkin. Also, can you discuss the change in costumes over the years? I remember back in the day, we kept our plastic masks every year. Hard to find those masks now. btw, Trick or Treat is scary movie!! (Especially, when the man pulls off his burlap mask - yikes!) I am with Ryan on this. The Skeleton in the yard is RAD! I can't wait until next Friday!!!🎃
Years ago, I had the cassette tape to shrieks and creeks board game. I used it as the background in my Halloween Decour. I see you have the board game… Cool
I loved the nostalgia reminders of yesteryear. I'm in my 60s, so Beistle decorations and Gurley candles were common. Trick or treating with a pillowcase as a candy receptical was standard, the wax candy lips, and Mom looking at everything we brought home are sweet memories. I'm so happy you included Big Pumpkin. There is actually a tape that goes with it and the narrator is great. The black house is called a mansard
I love this guy. I would definitely not mind making this guy my Halloween pal. I am a huge Halloween fan. U rock dude. Its only March but happy Halloween dude
I'm just at the 7:40 mark and my heart skipped a beat as soon as I saw 2 cereal boxes. I said to myself: OMG!!! Did Jack get the Pumpkin Spice Cheerios??!! 😯....No. He did not. 🙁😂What's the Charlie Brown cereal btw? I've never tried that one either.
Loved the talk or (and) treat! Everything you said brought back such good memories! 🎃 Please do this again! Also when you were showing the progress of your costume you totally looked like Stefan Salvatore from Vampire Diaries!
OMG! Congratulations on winning. Next week you’ll have to eat your Halloween snacks out of the new cooler and stick some spooky die cut bat stickers onto the cooler🦇
Enjoy your videos! I was at a Cracker Barrel in Philadelphia area. My jaw dropped when I saw 2 of the black witch wrath, 2 of the 3 ft. White wrath (thought of Ryan), witch n pumpkin cat blow molds, the tall huge lamp post plus lots of other halloween items at 25% off!! That store is still getting more halloween items truck loads. I bought the the witch wrath!!
Hey Jack and Ryan, This is Tammy. First of all, Congratulations on your wedding … AND congratulations for winning the best costume award at the wine tasting! You’ll have to give us a review on how the beverage stacks up! I LOVE Halloween and wish it could be year ‘round … Do you watch Chris the Girl and Tampa Jay? I smiled throughout this entire vlog! I LOVED every part of it! I even loved getting to see your little baby doggie! Your home and yard look AMAZING! 👻💀🖤🎃
VLOGOWEEN!!! I am excited to see what everyone is doing. I got my first video out. Hoping to get some fun stuff in for next week. Loved the Bob Ross costume so much.
Also, just last weekend I had movie marathon with my kids & watched Mom's Got A Date With A Vampire! Controversial opinion BUTTTT that movie is way better than Halloween Town lol
I hope you both have an awesome October/ Halloween. I'll be heading to see "The Godfather of Shock Rock"--- "Alice Cooper" this Sunday. It just doesn't get better than that! Movies...AMC is running all horror films this month. I personally collect the "After Dark Horrorfest, 8 Films to Die For movies. I obtained 7 out of 30 some movies I haven't seen...😁 then you have the "Masters of Horror" and "Ghost House." Some of these are awesome and not seen by many.
🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃💀🖤🧡🍂👻🍁🦉 I really thoroughly enjoyed this episode and how you broke it up in different categories.
