Totally needed that reminder of embracing the challenges and struggles of life! Thank you Christopher for being that random page of a book that you turn to that ends up having the most perfect quote for your moment in life.
When you said "kitchen tour" I literally had to pause the video, light a candle, brew a cup of coffee and ready myself. Your kitchen is amazing! This vlog was definitely not too long. I love hanging out with you! I had my coffee and my snuggly kitty and it was a lovely way to start my day!
Sing with me.....12 water bottles, 11 life planners, 10 wine glasses, 9 spice jars, 8 kitchen utensils, 7 advent calendars, 6 bento boxes, 5 Le Cruset, 4 beverage napkins, 3 Pampered Chef, 2 Tiegen skillets, and a Bubbas in a pear tree. 😝😝
Why are you worried that this video is too long? It still wasn’t long enough for me 😩 I wanted more lol Thanks for sharing! Can you do a kitchen pantry tour next time please? Thank you! ☺️
I love your organization skills! Regarding your comments on gratitude, you are spot on. It took surviving cancer to make ME realize what you already know. One of my favorite quotes is the rather well-known “Enjoy the little things, for one day you’ll realize they were the big things.” Love your joy of life!
I really enjoyed this, Christopher. Looking at your kitchen makes me want to reorganize my kitchen. I love the special love you have for your grandmother because it reminds me of my love for my grandmother who passed away when I was 10. She collected geese and I have one of her pieces on my desk in my office. :)
A quote I love, “This too shall pass” - When things are bad, remember: it won’t always be this way. Take one day at a time. When things are good, remember: it won’t always be this way. Enjoy every great moment. ❤️
On October 10, Hurricane Michael destroyed Panama City, my sweet southern coastal town. It is impossible for me to adequately articulate the destruction to the natural landscape and our homes and businesses. I'm struggling and my inner dialog is a neverending convo of all I should (and am) grateful for in my life. I'm alive. My family and friends are alive and my house can be repaired. I still have a job even though our office building needs massive repair and we had to relocate while those repairs get under way. Many, so many, aren't so fortunate. I tell myself it will get better. We will rebuild. This community is strong. Sigh...so much heartbreak. But your message...well, it was like you were speaking just to me. Bad days will come. But so will the good. Thank you Christopher. You were a good start to my day.
Please know that your videos and words of wisdom, especially about embracing the challenges in life and using those opportunities to be a better person are just so relatable to me, more so now than ever. It’s so valuable to be able to watch you and feel comforted, inspired and motivated....thank you so much xx
Oh my gosh, your kitchen is definitely a dream 😍. Everything has a home and is so clean! Thanks for sharing it with us. When I get time I’m going to come back and reference this video for organization tips for my own. Loved the length of this vlog.
Your kitchen storage is like a dream. I barely have enough room for kitchen essentials. Loving vlogtober and so excited for Vlogmas! Oh, and happy Halloween 👻
I got up this morning, raining & in pain today. My morning was instantly better with a Christopher video! I would listen to you for hours talking about paint drying so never worry about the length of a video! Now I am off to enjoy it!
That mug collection! My best bud got me hooked on Starbucks mugs very similar to Steven’s collection. They are special edition. It started with the Disney theme parks, and now I am hooked on different states that I visit.
I could seriously spend days doing nothing but watching your videos. You are such a wonderful person! Oh, and I'm totally in love with your kitchen. I started saving up for a place of my own, and this video has given me so much inspiration for my future kitchen! :)
Thank you for this video. I have been having a difficult time at work but this is a reminder to me that I should be grateful I have a job. The challenges I am going through now will only make me stronger and more knowledgeable. Truly grateful for your message. This is what I needed today and everyday. Thank you so much. P.S. You have a beautiful home. Sending you well wishes and many more blessings.
The first video I saw of yours was your home tour and I’ve been hooked ever since. Now, I see that I need to step up my kitchen organization game. Stay genuine and kind and be blessed.
I just love love love all your videos and organizational tips. Your kitchen is a dream. We recently built our dream home and I like watching your tips for organizing because it gives me such good ideas! Having a “home” for everything makes my heart sing. Thank you for being such a bright light in this world, your energy and positive vibes always make me smile, much love ❤️
I always say these 2 things to people: “Messy & I are not friends and never will be” and “A place for everything; everything in its place” 😊. I love seeing how other people organize things~thanks for sharing! So jealous of that enormous coat room. You have such great taste & style!
I love this video. I enjoy seeing how others organize. You gave me some great ideas. Love your kitchen! Definitely wasn't too long. Thanks for sharing!
I really enjoyed seeing your kitchen and storage room! I love the idea of those bins! That is so helpful with keeping things that would otherwise clutter a space!
Loved loved loved this vlog. I feel like I really needed to see this. I've been in major organizing mode. Also you've made me feel better (less guilty) about having multiples of kitchen accessories etc. Ha ha! Thank you, I'm so inspired for my organizing!
Please come organize my kitchen! ;) Love the tour and your talk about being grateful in the beginning. Those words are why we all love you Christopher!
A+ for organization!! We just moved into a new house and I've been doing this for the past couple of weeks. Think I finally have it done to the point where everything makes sense for how I use it. Now, on to installing pull-outs and lighting!
I have the napkin sickness too! At least I'm not alone. Now, I don't collect water bottles (well I have a few) but I have an insane collection of bento boxes & food picks & shape cutters to make my kids cute & healthy lunches. :)
I am so happy to have found your channel. I have been binge watching you all week. Your positivity and kindness radiates and I find myself looking for new ways to be kinder to my fellow man. You are truly an inspiration! Happy Halloween.
Christopher, organize your dish towels by rolling them , they look very nice and you can press them in tight with each other, but you are so organized great job, thanks for sharing with us.
I love all your storage, especially all of the pull outs. We have a lot of cabinets but they are deep and things get lost. I need to have some pull outs installed. Love your Halloween treats ... the kids in your neighborhood are very lucky. We finished the night with 224 trick or treaters ... and we had loads of candy leftover because we usually expect between 300-350. Halloween is my favorite :-)
Good morning, Christopher! Happy Halloween! 🎃 What a wonderful way to start the day!! Thank you for being you! You spread such great vibes and positivity! ❤️
Love Vlogtober ✌ the quote a day is inspiring, 2018 was a personal challenge for me but I'm so grateful the lessons I learned and moving forward I expect great things for 2019. 🇨🇦♥️😉
Thank you for sharing my sickness of collecting napkins...I thought I was the only one with this addiction...I have a deep drawer totally dedicated to my napkin collection!!!
Serious kitchen envy. You have amazing storage space. I was so foolish not to think about storage when i purchased my home and it has been a big regret. Thank you for sharing your lovely spaces with us!
This video is one of the best from your channel, cuz I just love poking my nose into other peoples homes. I'm a self proclaimed neat freak, and your house is giving me all sorts of life! My daughters, and I looove your channel, and your spirit.
Love your outlook on life and positivity. REALLY love the gold sweater, where did you get it? Your kitchen is a cooks dream and I so agree, if everything has a home, it makes organization so easy. I’m currently visiting my sister (she just had her first child) and I think I’m going to tackle her pantry for her. Great video!
I'm laughing hysterically. I heard about your kitchen organizing on another vlog, so I was curious to see how a pro does it. My kitchen is a total of 45 sq.ft. some of which is occupied by fridge and range. I have a total of 10 small cabinets and only 2 drawers!!! Plus a storage compartment in the range and a narrow broom closet. Where you have 40 spatulas and 40 mixing spoons, I have 3 of each. 1 whisk. 1 baking tray. No Keurig. No KitchenAid. I have 1% of what you have and maybe 50% as neat. I admire all you have done.
Thank you for sharing, I loved all the topics you shared. Your kitchen and mud room/closet tour was relaxing. I feel calm and happy when my space is organized. Have a wonderful day friend! 😊
Wow total kitchen goals right there with the enormous amount of storage! I have a relatively large 4 bedroom house but with a ridiculously small kitchen 😩. Your whole house is so beautiful and I love how organised you have each room. Thanks for a fab vlog, have a beautiful day ❤️
Laura Graham I’m in the same boat, almost daily I question the sanity of the person who designed our kitchen! Massive living room, kitchen built for ants! When I get the chance, I’m remodeling and showing the contractor this video!
This vlog was fun, Christopher! A little bit of everything! Yet, so helpful, too~ to see how others organize within their home gives great ideas to others! I, also, would be at a loss without using baskets or bins! 👍😊I’ve been collecting white ironstone serving platters for many years that mostly are of a “leaf” design. Some I have displayed on upper cabinets and on a wall, but the drawers I never thought of! Thanks for the great tip, I’ve got an extra “junk” drawer that just shouldn’t be, so now I can use that drawer for my platters! Never even thought of it until you showed your platter drawer! Totally Cool Beans, huh?!?😁🎃
Great vlog, loved your fabulous, organized kitchen! Do you mind if I ask did you design the layout of your home, or was it a pre-loved home when you moved in?
Wow! For the length of your video, I didn’t get bored at all, and you gave me so much inspiration. That is why I love being a subscriber on RU-vid. It opens my mind to so many ideas and possibilities. Thanks for mentioning Martha Stewart - she is such a trailblazer for us “creative lot”. 🙏 -🇨🇦🐥🍁☀️🎃😊
I'm laughing because you're telling us about autopilot on your car, but it wasn't like you were taking a nap- you actually looked like you were driving and paying attention- lol!
Hi Christopher!! Your Home is So Big roomy but Beautiful. You are so well organized. I really enjoy this 36 minutes organization video everything is so easy access. Please do more of these kind of videos. Thank You so much for sharing.
I loved your message of gratefulness and embracing challenge. I am dealing with a challenge (not health wise) now, so this was very helpful to me. Loved your kitchen tour. I keep meaning to ask which toaster oven you have and do you like it? Loved the longer video...more please. 😍♥️
This is the one I have and we love it. It has been going strong for three years. www.williams-sonoma.com/products/breville-smart-oven-air/?cm_src=SEARCH_TOPPRODUCT
I was looking EVERYWHERE for spice jars that were big enough to hold the spices but small enough to fit in that space. I went to the Dollar Tree and they had small glass containers (square but rounded edges) of cinnamon, so I bought all of them they had and put all of the cinnamon into a large container (I use it for making he house smell good mostly --on the stove with cloves, simmering) and I use all the jars for my spices. They look like high-end spice jars and it was like $20 total (including the cinnamon).
I get my spices from Penzeys Spices and I love their jars. They sell them empty. If you don't have a store nearby, they do have a website to order from.
Thank you so much for sharing your kitchen. Your vlogs are the best! I just bought two books you mentioned last year: The Poisonwood Bible and She's Come Undone. I am halfway through The Poisonwood Bible and it is so good! Thank you for so much inspiration and recommendations.
Hi Christopher! As always, I loved this vlog! Just wondering how and where you store your seasonal decor. Would love to see a tour of that. Looking forward to Vlogmas! Take care🎃
