Here you can see the first out of 3 rounds fram the world championships of death diving that took place in Oslo 18th of August 2018. First round is classical death diving and second is freestyle. Check out all the jumps here: You are judged by speed out from the jump, crowd control, control in the air, and how late you close for the landing.

I’ve been doing this for nearly 25 years now and if you know how to do it correctly you don’t get hurt that much, the way they pull their knees and elbows in front of them last second as they’re entering the water is the trick

For the record, I'd like to say I once rode a ten speed bike off the high dive at a public pool butt naked one drunken night in 1982 in front of many. No point, just found it somewhat relevant. On a footnote, I heard it looked as ridiculous as this story probably sounds.
