WOW. You saved me soooo much time by not removing my rear wheel. I just upgraded my 85 MAX with high performance rotors. My VMax is an 85. She has 12K original miles,was production number 2,131 off the line in June 1985.She is Red and Black and in near perfect condition. I am the second owner and the old guy I bought it from kept her in a heated garage. I LOVE this Motorcycle. I am looking for a 1995 and a 2005.I buy extra parts all the time just in case.I get great parts from a Motorcycle Mechanic in Japan.He sent me a factory workbook for my bike. "inherited" an '86 Vmax... 30 years later. Previous owner cared for the machine, but it's time to overhaul a few items. Every video for this era bike is welcomed. And by the way, at 35 years old, this thing still screams!
I noticed you kind of skipped over the rotor bolt removal.. How much trouble did you have removing the old rotor bolts? Did you replace them with oem new?
