Thanks for this. Do you guys have a tutorial on how to cope with compression issues from an analog mixing desk and how to successfully use this as an input into a livestream? We are really struggling with this and cannot get the sound quality right!
I think the TV monitoring is genius this should also work for monitors connected to hdmi as well I'm assuming? My question is what do you set for recording? Do you keep it at vmix or do you change recording to your mixer?
Having dramas trying to get more than 2 channels (basically Left and Right of Master) out of a Blackmagic Quad 2 - it should be able to have 16ch of audio (8 x stereo) - but I still only get Master. Even when selecting MAB, or MA, or even MABCDEFG in the External Output option. ANy thoughts?
I have all the sound effects working with VMix and my elgato stream deck but I am using a ZOOM L-12 audio interface for the microphones and headphones. Here's my question; when I hit the elgato shortcut key and play the sound effects I cannot hear it in the headphones when I am livestreaming, the audience can hear the sound effects and I can see the sound levels moving but no sound in my headphones.
Very interesting set up splitting audio in 2. As a journalist I work a lot with audios and I wonder if I repeat your setup with 2 monitors what can I do with mic if I don't want to use headphones. I mean, I'd like to listen all inputs to output master except mic because of feedback
The audio from the mic goes away on the after a while and I have to keep putting it back on during a live stream. What can I do to ensure the audio doesn’t keep going away during the live stream
I am unable to get the audio of a specific input while streaming not sure what I am doing here. So, I am sreaming a game on youtube using vMix where I have configured the desktop capture input to be a specific window. When I start the game, there is no audio (I got to know after I watched the video myself when stream was completed) Need help
Is there a limit to the number of audio inputs that can be added to a mix? I also think in a future update you could add a mixer with a similar UI as ProTools or Ableton.
When you have integrated soud card on desktop computer is it possible to set front and rear output jack to play 2 different stereo audio streams. and one stream you can set as master output in vmix and second as headphone output. You can set this in" realtek audio manager" and click "device advanced settings"
as soon as I plug my headphones into Vmix it MUTES the master audio going out of my HDMI output which is my sole (and only way) master output for program out. That is not good. I need headphones on occasions, such as hearing Vmix callers in solo etc. Is there a fix for this? PC windows 10 laptop with Nvidia RTX 2070
| would like to use sound effects on my live steam. I have currently a zoom L-12 that controls all my microphones. I have the elgato stream deck and I want to add shortcut keys for sound effects so they play instantly for my audience.
If you add the sound file to vMix you'll be able to program a shortcut key on your Stream Deck to play it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oPG6eq0ZiGg.html
@@vMixhd thank you. I figured it out already. I have another question. Are there only 4 overlays or is there a way to add more? Also I am using my zoom L-12 and that is how my mics and headphones are going through VMIX. When myself any my guests talk we can hear each other but when I play the intro and sound effects we cannot hear them. Is there a way to fix that
Is it possible to have 2 audio outputs for different channels? I'm having a videocall and need to get them separated, so i can plug them in separate inputs on my audio mixer and mix them properly to go on air
@@calw2939 I'm using a two outputs sound card (left and right), so i pan some Vmix channels to the right and others to the left, that's the way i solved it to get them separated. But i imagine there must be a way to get extra outputs and not only master.
I am using your software and I love it I am now using it to live stream with a guest unfortunately when I speak the guest voice becomes very weak and unclear and when I turn my mic off the guests voice becomes better how can I fix it thank you
Hi, that doesn't sound like an issue with vMix but with your audio setup. Could you send through an email with your audio setup and how you're connecting your guest to vMix- www.vmix.com/contact-us.aspx
I have searched and can't seem to find how to delete an audio device once it is added. Its not like closing a video or media input... anyone know how to remove an audio device?
I think you may be referring to audio devices of the computer to reduce the clutter of drop down menus. If so, try going to Settings/System/Sound and look for the text "manage sound devices". If you click on the unwanted one, you can see "disable". This is assuming Windows 10.
Hi, I need someone who could resolve a problem I have with Vmix audio. Imagine the following situation: I have 2 people in a videocall, I need to hear only one of them in my master, but i also need that person to hear by monitor to the other without this other person being in the master. Hope someone can tell me how to do that! Thanks!
@@vMixhd I've just finished watching all of the audio tutorials just before seeing this answer, and my doubt was cleared up in the last part of the fourth video! Thanks a lot for these tutorials!
