This vMix tutorial will look at one of the basics of live video productions- adding lower third titles. It's simple to add animated and static titles with vMix. Hi Tim. I'm I doing something wrong or misunderstanding how titles work. It seems that I can only choose a title for a #1 input. I tried overlaying titles for #2 or #3 inputs and the title comes on the live screen without anything behind it. I'm using the free version of VMIX. Also I have an audio question. Singers from the worship service are auxed to a mixer board. The room sound is adequate but the sound coming into VMIX is not good, the musicians and singers are not mixed. The camera is connected via the line out to the mixer. Should I use a plugin to mix music and singers into VMIX? If so which plugins work with VMIX? Or should I set up audio controls in VMIX?

Thanks for all your tutorials. Is there a way to change the text in a title without creating a new input? We're using it for our sermon titles, which change every week. Additionally, the title input has its own settings and triggers, which I don't want to have to re-create every week. Is that possible?

Hi, if you use the presets (4:56), then you can add different content for your fields and then just switch between them from the one title.

Hello sir, please I want to ask if I'm using Blackmagic ATEM design live mini Pro or any version mixer with multiple cameras can I connect it through the vMix sort wear for productions and live streaming...

Can you create a lower third in VMIX and export it out with an alpha channel to be used on another VMIX system? GREAT TUTORIAL by the way

If using on another vMix system, we would recommend you copy the title from one system to the other. Otherwise, try outputting via NDI with an alpha channel enabled and you may be able to record this with another program.

Any way to import my own animated graphics, but use it the same way as a vmix title? (change the text, animate it in and out when I overlay)

how do I automate the titles? like they reload themselves after some time in a loop. for example the GT title called "Title 1 - Element Blue" has an animation with a rotating logo called "Page 1". how do I animate it without keeping on pressing transition in, page1 and transition out?

Hello, I was wondering if i want to use the titles (Lower Thirds) on vmix how do i adjust adjust the size of the lower third though their are some that run from side to side but if i wanted to make it smaller how do i do that. Also the same goes for any that i may import into vmix that i may have created on a different software. Thank You

Hi, you could create your own using the GT title designer- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-emScjEUVrJc.html. If you have existing titles that you want to make smaller you can adjust the size by going into the input settings and then the position tab. Multiple names so "...you can quickly switch between..."...do you meant that it's a place holder of names and you literally save (? or export?) one title per name you click on? Then you would have 10 title for 10 guest? ...and that would populate the left-side of vMix, correct? If so, then we just right-click to shrink each title? (You didn't say what we do with the list of names when added to the title, ie, 25 names....then...what?). Thanks! :)

The presets are useful so you can have 1 title but have many different guests. That way you don't have to add heaps of the same title input. You can add the content to the different fields, then save it as the title preset. Then do the same for the next entry. Then you can just right right-click to add of the guests you've added.

I have titles with animations but the animations do not work. If I use a default title, or custom title the animation will not show. Anyone know the cause and solution?

How do you key a logo? Your talk is way too complicated. I can not follow you at all. I am so lost with this stuff. I paid for this stuff and I do not get how to use it. I am a hands-on learner. Slow down. You think everyone is already got 20 years in video work. What is a trigging system?

You can just press the button 1,2,3,4 to overlay the logo. You don't need to key it.
