I was skeptical of this product but maybe I’ll give it a shot. All of the unnecessary products we are sold in this hobby make me wary of anything like this. But really, how different or more effective is this stuff than a water and white glue mixture?
Water and white glue tends to degrade the paper as it saturates it, and so you end up with something much more fragile than even the flimsy tissue paper you had before. This doesn't do that, it wets the paper, but really doesn't weaken it at all.
it does not damage or reactivate paint, but unfortunately, the paint will seal the paper, and not allow you to shape it with paper shaper. You generally need to shape, then paint.
