The Chinese (Autuumn Strong) and Japanese (Ikanaide/ Please, Don’t Go) versions have completely different lyrics.. Both are based on a true story. The Chinese version shows the image of leaves dancing in the autumn wind as a metaphor for how fate affected Yoshiko Yamaguchi's life. ...sad but inevitable and irrevocably The Japanese version does not want to accept the loss, is full of pain, pleads, suffers ... heartbreaking. Besonders schön bei dem Lied Stranger zu hören. Es gibt noch so viel Dimash für dich zu entdecken. Ave Maria oder das Musikvideo von Be With Me. So viele faszinierende Facetten. This was another very enjoyable reaction and analysis. This is quickly becoming one if not the favorite Dimash performance for me and it invokes a very visceral response in me, just as "Ave Maria" did. Dimash sang and recorded "Ikanaide" for the Tokyo Jazz Festival in January of 2021. According to several native Japanese speakers, Dimash's pronunciation of the lyrics is nearly flawless. One native speaker, who gave a detailed analysis, stated that he is "expressing Japanese more (better) than Japanese" and that he does not only perfectly pronounce Japanese but "expresses Japanese…with Japanese emotion.". Goro Matsui, who wrote the lyrics to "Ikanaide," posted on his Twitter account that he has never heard a foreigner sing in Japanese in such a beautiful way. Tamaki Kōji composed the music and performed the song in 1989. "Ikanaide" became the title song for the Chinese-Japanese TV series "Farewell, Li Xianglan," filmed that year. It is the story of Yoshiko Yamaguchi, a beloved Chinese-born Japanese actress and singer during World War II who hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan. Following the war, when the Chinese became aware of her Japanese heritage, she was accused of being a spy and sentenced to death by firing squad for treason and collaboration with the Japanese; she had been involved in the production of Japanese propaganda films. Thanks to the intervention of influential friends, she was cleared of all charges but urged to leave China or risk being lynched. She resettled in Japan, where she would continue to enjoy a successful acting career. "Autumn Strong". Das Lied ist auf chinesisch und hat aber einen anderen Text wie das hier. Hier singt er auf Japanisch und das hat er noch nie zuvor gesungen. Es ist vom Tokyo Jazzfestival letztes Jahr.
As for your assertion that the microphone somehow "balances" the difference between loud and soft (volume leveling), you might be incorrect. Several music producers, as well as voice coaches and professional singers, have pointed out that this microphone is so sensitive that it picks up every sound, no matter how light. You can hear it before the final vocal section, just before he starts humming. The microphone clearly pics up even his faint breathing. Dimash controls all dynamics with his voice and the distance to the microphone. One music producer pointed out that this is a roughly $10000 (ten thousand) top-of-the-line microphone. I don't think that Dimash would ever allow electronic manipulation to his voice. The only electronic effects he seems to make use of are reverberation/echo effects. Admittingly, I am not an expert and honestly had very limited knowledge of vocal techniques, registers, etc. What little I know now I have learned by listening to analyses from experts in the field reacting to and analyzing Dimash's performances.
