Vocal Coach Reaction to Famous Singers Worst FAILS on Stage 

Ya'll. It's not that I "don't hear" a note out of tune or a voice crack. It's that those things don't matter in the overall scope of their careers or even in that performance. The video I reacted to was titled "WORST moments on stage." However, some of these are just small errors at best that will happen to every singer many times over the course of their career. Aside from that, there are places where I was either talking over their performance or the quality of the audio + the quality of my cheap earbuds made the video sound like rumbling noise that I literally couldn't hear. Thank you ahah. Tired of reading "omgggffgg i cant beliefff you couldn't hear that one flat note!!"

It's not fair to judge Celine's as a fail considering she was crying, that's why her voice cracked. That clip was from her first show back after her husband & brother had died! So she did an AMAZING!!! job under those circumstances.

The Sia “fail” was that her voice actually didn’t come out at all when she went to hit the notes hence why she said “oh shit” the cracking is intentional. But on when she went to sing “on the chandelier” her voice “gave out” for a lack of better terms

on the Sia clip, i think her actual live voice gave out and the recorded version of her voice continued. (i'm perhaps in error, but im' thinking she was singing live while a prerecorded version is played at a lower volume.)

When you do that many live performances, the chances of it going 'perfect' every time is pretty slim and the chances are that people aren't gonna notice, but like respect to these artists for carrying on like a pro. Also everyones voice cracks like even if you're just speaking 😂

The Celine voice crack was at her first live show after her husband died. She cried through the entire song All By Myself and took several breaks trying to get through it. I think the audience gave her a standing ovation when she got to the end of the song which I’m sure helped her get through the night. 😢

Love your vids but don't see how you couldn't hear sia's voice was totally strained or something she couldn't get out her notes. It's like her power just wasn't great that day. Everyone has off days we all know she sounds fantastic.

All of these are almost like a rite of passage for any performer! You WILL encounter: dropping an important end note, voice cracking, prop failure, costume issues, *tripping slipping and falling*, backing track failures, can’t hear yourself in the monitors, and messing up lyrics. The most important thing is: *DON’T STOP. Play it off. Just Pretend it never happened.* you totally meant to do that.

I'm gonna just share my worst stage experience here with y'all, so... enjoy... In my senior year of high school, my mom FINALLY took my dream of being on broadway seriously and she found my a voice coach. And one of her favorite things to do was put on small recitals for certain holidays. So for 2014, she wanted to do a Thanksgiving perfomance at a local nursing home. I was excited, despite not liking the songs she picked for me to sing. The recital was on a Sunday and the two days before that happened to be a special All-County choir rehearsal and concert, which was a huge deal for me and the others selected to be there. Unfortunately, it meant singing for two days straight. I started to feel sick the day of the All County concert (Saturday), but I brushed it off, thinking my throat was just sore from rehearsing for the two different concerts in one weekend. On Sunday, the day of the Thanksgiving concert with my voice coach, I woke up... without a voice. I had a solo and also a duet with my best friend. We tried to tell my voice coach that I was sick, but she wasn't listening. So once my song comes up, I go up and... literal shit comes out of my mouth. I was not hitting any note nor was I on key, as hard as I tried. I 'sang' through the entire concert, solo and duet, with no voice. Never have I ever been more embarrassed or ashamed

I will say this much, the Adele clip confirmed my standing that one of the most beautiful musical occurrences come from a giant crowd or arena of people singing together. Not a chorus, just an entire arena of people hitting the notes right and joining one another in a beautiful song
