Beyoncé is a very varied singer. She definitely uses her voice as an instrument and strategically stretches it very carefully and cautiously, never damaging it or stretching it too much. It's very carefully bendable and flexible. She knows where to adds touches of lightness, airiness, heaviness, rawness, sultriness, soulfulness, etc. at the right times and in the right spaces. That's what makes her vocals dynamic. She's not just an entertainer, she's definitely a showstopper of a vocalist. Space in music is extremely important and she uses space very well. I like how her voice has developed and gotten richer with time and years. It's extremely rich in its development right now. The richness allows her to move through a lot of different genres but still maintain her R&B essence. Vocally, she has a golden honeyed flare.
You need an award from for that comment. That was beautiful and I ran upon a channel, they had Beyonce vs.Mariah's vocals.I hated to see so many people saying Mariah was better. But, I love them both.Bee is untouchable though. She is extremely iconic, especially the Spirit album along with the voice of Nyla. She's also a good actress and performer.
You are clearly very uneducated. "Screaming" as you call it is when singers try to belt high notes but don't have the capabilty so the notes become strained and unsupported. Adele is a great example of this. Beyonce's belts are always connected and supported due to her technique and vocal experience.
Hello Mrs. Harvey, I‘m Mr. Stanley, I‘m a Beyhive commissioner. I have the pleasure to inform you, that the Beyhive got your back for a lifetime! Just call us and we’ll drag who ever needs to get dragged. Thank you!
I LOVE your analysis so much this is so helpful you’re not just reacting but also teaching! I’d love to see your review of Beyoncé singing resentment on her latests tour live! Also for other vocal treasures of hers: Please react to Beyoncé singing 1) dangerously in love live on the Beyoncé experience 2) Beyoncé aol sessions 3) Beyoncé singing resentment on her latest tour OTRII (please check this one out so masterful) They’re one of her many vocal treasures
"Beyoncé and her dancers are like care bears, conjuring energy up, to release from their stomachs". That's one of the weirdest things I've ever heard someone say about Beyoncé.
I just had to subscribe. You're the kind of vocal coach on youtube we needed. The beyonce of vocal coach reactions. Your understanding and way of explaining things we understand about what entrances us with bey but cant put into words is phenomenal. Please do more and explain more technical aspects too. These were far from beyonce's best vocals. Eagerly waiting and love you!!
Watching Beyoncé vocal videos always makes me tear up bc I’m always amazed and ascending every time I hear her, even if I’ve watched those same performances before 💀
I love this! I've seen ur other vids u have a great voice! I'm only 13 but I love to sing opera songs and broadway musicals. I'm also into pop music a little! your videos help me a lot! I've have a little trouble with my vibrato because I'm not sure I'm doing it right. Any tips? I love ur channel so much!!! -olivia
I love the way you noticed how she has mastered the art of incorporating what she has harnessed from the universal mechanics; to activate everything' in and around her! You cannot achieve such unless you allow every single part of the body to be in total equilibrium ! .... You have done an extremely great job at reacting to her many talents 🙌🏾🏆
She is the main triggering point that made me love singing AND dancing even more. I mean I've always loved singing and dancing separately but growing up watching this incredible woman, I just love to push myself exploring my own voice and dancing in different genre (mainly hiphop these days). She is an inspiration and a super human.
BeyoncezSon the only trouble is half of the performance is lip synced lol, so no point in reacting to it. Lip synced parts: first chorus, then from « boy, maybe if you cared enough » to « well IIIIII care, I know you care to much, but I still care, baby » then she goes live again with « I still care, baby, I still caaAAaAaAare, cAaAaAAAAAaaaaaaaaaare........ » until the end.
A reaction video where people aren’t just going “wow she’s good”?? As usual with you, A GEM!!!! Also I adore how you write detailed description boxes. It’s super helpful as someone who usually needs to read to process what I listen to!! (Also it’s nina from the vocal evaluation a few months ago lol this is another acct)
I love your reaction to Beyoncé haha, you should react to Beyoncé singing Love on Top either at the VMAs or at Roseland. You seem very knowledgeable in your area of expertise
Your teachings on here have helped me to find resonance and find MY voice. Your aura and energy is light and captivating. Thank you Madeline! & Beyoncé is my favorite artist so seeing this from you just the cherry on top!
I get the impression that you understand the principles of astrology when you wanna express yourself. I love it!!! Very spiritual approach to a reaction.
New to your channel. Found it cos I’m a big Beyoncé fan, I hope you’ll be able to see her in her destiny child / Beyoncé experience eras. I like the fact that you actually REACT and have something to say about the videos... too many vids like these just play the video and then end. Keep up the good work!
Your reaction is true and I really feel deep in my heart while watching you Madeleine reacted Beyonce that just like you are inside of her singing. I saw in your body movements . Yes she is very good singer and you are a good teacher. Thanks!
Thank you for this video. Your videos are so helpful to me. One of my greatest challenge is panic and singing off when in front of people. How do I overcome that?
Vocal Reactions are a pretty guilty pleasure of mine (although I don't feel guilty about it and I admit it but you get the gest) so I've seen a lot by now, but I just wanted to say that so far I've loved your reaction the most, just because you're sharing so much knowledge and are so naturally charismatic, I love how much you talk about the video and how actively but naturally you react to everything and are just so into it. Keep it up!!!
A lot of vocal coaches that I’ve watched reacting to Beyoncé’s performances say or insinuate that Be growls on purpose, wich is absolutely incorrect; she used not to growl this way when she was younger, her voice used to be clear in her middle register and a lot clearer in her upper register. But since 2004, her voice evolved in a way that when she’s hitting high notes, her voice growls. Somedays it’s more « growly » than others, somedays it’s clearer. My voice does the same so I understand how her voice works. If I’m trying to have a clear sound when I hit high notes, I’m hurting my vocal cords.
Uh i think you’re so wrong. She’s making a stylistic choice to growl, it’s slowly but surely becoming her “staple” but she’s had MANY recent performances where she wa able to reach high notes without growling. I doubt Beyoncé struggles at reaching anything, you can see that she practices ALOT and knows her voice so She definently wouldn’t let discomfort change how she sings, instead she would work to fix whatever the discomfort is.
It also didn't develop like that she used to growl even before 2004. It seems growling has grown into a habit for Beyoncé. And if you can't belt without growling, and end up hurting yourself, you haven't developed your belts properly.
The vocal coaches are right. It's stylist choice. Even back in early Destiny's child, she growled too. The difference is, her range expanded and her voice got fuller. If she didn't have control over her growls, her voice would be damaged.
Hello Madeleine! I loved your reaction! It was done in such a beautiful way! Could you please react to Ariana Grande best live vocals? I would love to ear your opinion on her technique! Continue the good work!
