Melissa Benoist does play Supergirl. The musical episode of the Flash had a few old Glee cast members. Grant Gustin was part of the Warblers, a rival glee club, as was Darren Criss before transferring schools and becoming a part of the New Directions.

@@enriqegonsalez8083 Rachel (Lea) is an INCREDIBLE vocalist, phenomenal, but Naya in my opinion is more versatile and could sing in more styles well than Lea, e.g. in I kissed a girl, Naya totally outshone Lea because she’s capable of that sound as well as belts, but Lea beat her out at the big songs

I saw the Carole King show when it toured, and it wasn't Melissa, obviously, but it was such a great show. I've seen video of her performance, but I bet it was stunning live.

The issue was that Wade /Unique identified herself as female and they mostly felt it should had been more like a performance prop and didn’t feel all that comfortable giving her a girl part. She had a very heart wrenching talk with Finn about it in a later scene, telling him how she wasn’t allowed in the girls bathroom but didn’t feel comfortable in the boy’s bathroom, and the same with the clothing. They ended up giving Unique the part but Sue kept causing problems and brought her parents to stop it, hence why Santana ended up singing that part.

That was such a great storyline. It was heartbreaking, and I would have LOVED to see Unique play that role. I always kind of wished they did, but I think the way they played it was also fairly realistic. I also love Naya/Santana, but it was super weird to bring her back for that, from a former dance/former choir coach perspective.

I love it because Alex Newell played unique and she is a trans woman who sings quite a few popular songs that you might know. Of course only glee nerds will recognize that it’s her, but kill the lights and nobody to love are amazing dance jams

As much as Sue was painted as a villain. She did Unique a favor. During this time period in a town like that, it would have done more harm than good. She may have been hurt in that moment but in the long run she would have other opportunities for similar roles if not bigger.

The world’s introduction to Melissa Benoist before Supergirl. I often forget she played one of my favorite Glee characters and I was an avid watcher at this point. This is one of the best performances from the new kids on Glee. I used to listen to it on repeat. The vocals are so good.

The fact that Alex (Unique/Mo) got their start on The Glee Project is often forgotten but they had Alex do a cover of I Will Always Love You. Alex was only supposed to have a 2 episode arc but ended up being in 39 episodes including a season 5 regular.

Yes, the girl who plays Marley is the same girl who plays super girl. Sebastian, one of the warblers plays the flash so they did a cross over musical episode with Darren criss playing the villain. Its would highly suggest reacting to it the episode is called “duet”

Amazing! The Glee cast never fails to impress me with their vocal abilities, and this cover of "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" is no exception. Each member showcased their unique vocal range and added their own flair to the song. The harmonies were spot on, the vocal runs were executed flawlessly, and the power behind their voices really conveyed the emotions of the song. Overall, this performance was a true vocal powerhouse, and I am thoroughly impressed.

Alex Newell is in the top 5 best vocalists to come out of the show honestly. He should have won The Glee Project (which I guess they did in the long run haha) I wish they did more with Unique. They did her dirty. They never even used the word Trans until Season 6.

Hot take (?) I think they told Alex Newell to sing both in a Wade voice (?) as in slightly more masculine voice and also in Unique as a full-on trans woman (rightly so for the character) at the beginning of the song so you can actually hear both their voices and I think it's BRILLIANT because it showcases how they transition from convencional male performance to her actual real-self voice and I think it's just brilliant, I absolutely love that for her, but I think people don't see it and think I'm being transphobic but I swear I'm not. I just think it's a great touch and really brilliant really because it relates amazing with the lyrics and the situation at the moment in the season. But I'd love to read what other people think!
