Vocal Coach Reacts! BTS! Singing without mics! (and messing around) 

Absolutely blown away with the sheer amount of comments under this video! For those asking, I will definitely be reacting to BTS again, and will try and get it done in my next block of filming dates, so hopefully you wont have to wait for too long (juggling work, kids, personal life and RU-vid is a delicate art!). Thanks to everyone who's taken time to comment, I can see them all and will hopefully get the time to sit down properly and get liking them all!

You don't have to apologize so much for not knowing the members' names, especially as it is your first time experiencing them. Personally, as an Army from their debut days, I find it refreshing that you're reacting to them and analyzing their vocals without plugging your own business as a vocal coach every *gd* two minutes. You have no idea how rare that is. Too many are using our boys as an accessory to market themselves rather than actually appreciate the art they are putting out in the world. SO, THANK YOU! I have been binge-watching BTS for about 3 weeks. As a former dancer/singer/entertainer - I am blown away by their work ethic - they have "it" all. My grandson couldn't believe that I was having anything to do with BTS. I will be 80 years young in a few months. IMHO all of their songs/numbers are danceable. Love YOU BTS.

The guy who was always screaming on top of his voice was actually J Hope... he is not a vocalist but a rapper.. And a dancer. But he does have a very good vocals when he is being serious.

Jimin's voice is very recognizable, people who have never heard of BTS usually find it easily among the seven :) i was never into high male vocals until i heard him sing The one with the low "smoky" tone is Taehyung (stage name V), his range is 3.5 octaves, the biggest in the group

I'm so happy about your compliments for Jimin's singing!! He has the least confidence and training, this would make him also very happy!! As for the ones pushing their voices.. they're actually rappers. & love to tease the vocal line! V has a lovely range, from deep to high.. very R&B soulful sound. Jin does have a fabulous voice & outside his solos, seldom gets a chance to really shine. As for Jungkook, he had the strongest, most range & absolutely amazes everyone! if you want some good voice analysis stuff,,, their "your eyes tell" performance is really good. i'd also suggest "jungkook doesn't know autotune", "jimin's best live vocals", " 'jin's the weakest vocalist' " and "taehyung's best live vocals". these four names are the designated vocalists of the group, while the other three members (RM, Suga, and J-Hope) are more known for rapping. the one with the higher/more childlike voice (by the elevator) is Jimin. he's known for his high high high notes, (i think his highest long held note is an A5 (in the song "let me know"), but his most comfortable high notes are between E and G). his range is great too (A2-Bb5). the one with the smokier tone is V (or Taehyung) and he has incredible range (E2-G5). My favourite of his high notes is in his song "stigma", so you should definitely check it out. Jin is another incredible high note vocalist, known for his triple high note in the song "crystal snow" (Eb5-G5), and his 'rock scream' high note in "dionysus" (F#5). Jin's range is also great (Bb2-B5). Jungkook (the youngest of the group) is known for his crazy stability. while dancing, he's still a vocal powerhouse. he also has some crazy range (G2-A5). hope this helps !!

You are referring to Jimin to the ' almost child-like voice' .He has a solo song called ' Lie'. V is the you referred to as the one with somehow husky voice. He has a solo song called ' Stigma'.. .. check their mv and live performances...thanks

The elevator guy is Jimin. He was actually a contemporary dancer when he became a trainee. The husky guy is Taehyung also known as V.. He is considered to be the most handsome man on earth. Besides that he has a very special personality. The other members consider him a genius. They are such a funny and sweet bunch. Train 12 hours a day, singing and dancing. They do concerts, music videos, dance practice videos , live award show performances, reality shows, live blogs, online concerts, documentaries etc. etc. They have HUGE fanbase they call ARMY. Lots and lots of stuff on RU-vid. Enjoy!

JIMIN is the boy in the elevator, who has the voice of "child" kkk he makes many high notes in the group, he is also known for having an angel voice as people speak, and he has a degree in contemporary dance.

I just love how kpopies keep bashing Jimin's voice. But every single vocal coach I have came across, EVERY SINGLE ONE, makes eye hearts everytime Jimin sings

When I first got into bts I was very amazed by jimins voice. I've gotten more used to it because I listen to them all the time. This video got me excited about his voice all over again. I love it so much!

Jimin the guy you noticed and liked the most with the high voice wasn't a vocalist before he joined he was mainly brought in for dancing abilities and they are out of this world, had he not joined BTS he would have been the top contemporary dancer in the world. He was extremely insecure about his singing ability and had to basically teach himself for the first couple years BTS started I think finally around 2018 they started giving these guys vocal coaches and now look at how his unique voice has developed. His vocal range is amazing and you need to look up lie, promise, serendipity my personal favorites that are not known too much about is isac 2016 holding hands bts look that up when jimin sings his part heads turn. His voice is unique and special.

Jimin has a truly beautiful and unique voice. His voice is the icing on the cake for BTS songs. He has been doing more vocal training recently and the quality really show in the recent performances. "Stay Gold" live and "Your Eyes Tell" are amazing BTS vocal showcases. You must watch the live versions.

The funniest thing of this entire video was how often you complimented jimin and were intrigued by his voice and it was him every time but you didn't always connect him together lol... I really think you have to listen to their songs and especially their vocal heavy ones. Maybe starting off with just each members solo tracks to become more familiar with each. I've seen people list them below so have fun falling into the bts rabbit hole!

The high, bright tone was from Jimin and the smokey tone was from V. The group has 4 vocalists and 3 rappers. This compilation actually has more of the rappers goofing off and halfway singing. All of them can sing but the rappers don't do it as much. They've been releasing music for over seven years, so there are tons of songs to check out. Your best bet may be a "best live vocals" compilation, unless you want to react to each of the vocalist separately. The vocalists are Jin, Jimin, V/Taehyung, and Jungkook. The rappers are Suga, RM, and J-Hope. J-Hope is also a sub-vocalist and the best singer out of the rappers. What's really incredible is watching them dance and sing live at the same time.

Jimin is the singer you like. I love him too. Check out Serendipity which is a Jimin solo. So special. Please also listen to the live concert performance of The Truth Untold. The version you want does have English subtitles. it’s by the 4 vocal line members (Jin, Jimin, Taehyung/V and Jungkook) also perform House of Cards live. Neither of these songs are over produced so you can hear their voices. Just beautiful sad yet powerful ballads. The rap line (RM, Suga and JHope) can also sing though they mostly rap. They have different styles, timbre and flow to each other. Yeah, that was them completely messing around. Jimin (high voice) and V (low voice) have such unique voices. You haven’t heard “nuthin” yet. Plus the rappers sang a lot in this one. They aren’t necessarily singers, although they do work on their singing voices a lot. They sound good too! They have really great music that has a lot of meaning in the lyrics. You should check them out more. AND yes, they have great personalities to boot! Thanks for sharing!
