I am not a professional anything, but I have never heard of anyone else taking that vocal quality up passed the flip point of chest and head voice. I have heard her sing several times before and always at that point she had to abandon that vocal style and sing in a conventional voice. If I am wrong please tell me. I have heard the Tuvan Throat Singers but they all stay down below that point where your voice must flip to the head voice. If you can point me in a direction where others may do what she is doing now I'd be grateful. The only word I can think of is EPIC. I have to say I am moved to tears with this performance. I was not a big fan but her new ability to take this vocal quality everywhere has rendered any argument moot. She is now an artist to me and deserves all the accolades that she is getting. I see this song playing over a movie climax of a global cataclysm or a global war. This arrangement is brilliant. And only a voice like Diana's could pull it off. It's like she is singing through a megaphone, but one hiding in her throat. Thank you Ken for you beautiful reaction.

For me, it is not her low voice but the fact that she seems to generate a low tone and a simultaneous higher, coloring tone at the same time. It makes the sound so full and rich. Is that a real thing or is it just my older ears?

The competition is still going and the rules are very unusual and different here is short summary: NTV channel announces the launch of a new original music show "Show-mask-go-on". The heroes of the project are the favorite participants of popular NTV projects: "Mask", "You are super!" and "Superstar" who have won more than once and proven that they are the best. The nine participants will also be the judges of the show. The special feature of the new NTV show is that the jury will not be as such, the participants themselves will comment and assess the performance of the participants. Can you imagine being one of the other judge competitors on this show. The teenager comes on last in the first round of her first adult show competition. And this is her opening salvo🔥🔥😂 Everybody else is feeling ok then the teenage Diana comes in and does this, possibly around midnight after a day of filming. Thoughts ..... 😳 ..... Its going to be Oh crap 🤣😂 0r Stunned silence..... the guest judge - the bearded opera singer married to a top Russian soprano said he'd never felt anything like it. So i think she..to borrow from Michael Kain, blew the proverbial bl##dy doors of with this one 😂🤣🤩 Tolstoys Tonsils indeed.😎👍🏼 Yes Its a competition/prime TV time show performance 😎 yes and they took a lyric/ musical Sample and let Diana, her voice with her new vocal coach loose on it.😉😁 Result a mini fantasy Aria but what fun. Dianas had to be pretty much self motivating and funding in her concerts outside state TV shows. So its nice to see her get proffesional stage production ... they have been extensively using a non green screen enhanced VR system in this show and its been striking to even at times a bit OTT.. a bit like the dancers and yes its drawn Russian comments as well. Meantime the girl has been doing quite well overall and has pulled a few good and brilliant interpretations out of the hat.. they are allocated song's to perform so it pushes everyone out of their normal choices. The song Crow is totally different dark techno pop/gothic? but totally Diana and despite being last on again she pulled off a possibly wicked game/rechenka level performance. Shes also just finished her first full album.

One episode is left, which will determine the winner, although most people realize that the whole thing is not too serious. Even Diana herself stated so in no uncertain terms in one of her Instagram stories.
