Stranger which is a song of his is also the name of this concert. This is his own solo concert that he performed in January of 2023. Just the latest of many solo concerts that he's done. Dimash composed this song. It didn't look like you had the subtitles on and that's a shame. This is his first performance in Spanish and as usual he has interpreted the lyrics beautifully both visually and locally. Black=dark, white= light, red=passion. He composed the music and worked on it for 3 years. After you see the live performance watch the music video. The video is so intense that many people do not hear some of Dimash's great singing. You are going to have to see his music video The Story of One Sky. It is his masterpiece that took him three years to compose. It’s a mini movie over 14 minutes long. At the Almaty concert he preformed the song live for it’s debut performance. This was well into over 3 hours into the concert. El Amour En Ti , also composed by Dimash and presenting it’s debut as well, was performed immediately after the Story of One Sky where he gave it his all. Please watch the MV first so that it will make more sense to you, it’s actually probably going to make a deep impression on you as it seems to for most people. Then watch his live performance. I even like to recommend watching a fan cam version of the concert taken by the Viet Nam fan club as it’s got a really great view of him and different angles you don’t see from his official concert show. Hello Ken, did you already react to The Story of One Sky? He performed it right before El Amor En Ti. It's a very very challenging song. I don't know nothing about singing so I might be wrong, but I imagine having these 3 prerecorded Dimashes sing for a few minutes gave him time to take care of his voice. To be honest it took me 2 or 3 times hearing El Amor En Ti to fall in love with it, but now I really love it and dig the creativity Btw. if you don't know The Story of One Sky already please watch the music video first. I was kind of overwhelmed the first exposure I had to this performance. But once I read the lyrics and listened to it a second time, I fell in love with the whole thing, including the Michael Jackson Dimash! Greetings from a Las Vegas Dear!

Dimash has temporarily moved to the U.S. He is attending the N.Y. School of Fine Arts in Las Angelas majoring in Film Directing. This after having just completed his Doctoral Studies and Dissertation in some form of music. His brain fires more on more pistons per second than mine has in my almost 68 years of life. While I loved the sounds of Dimash on the projections, I have always thought his desire to mimic MJ cheapens his performances, not just here but in any performance where he adds that flare. Recently I find myself returning to the sweet baritone operatic sounds of the late, great Dmitri Hvorostovsky or the deep rumbling basso profundo Avi Kaplan singing folk, country and western over Dimash. No, not a new direction for Dimash. He has many songs through the years where his songs incorporate R&B. He loves many different styles of music and can sing any style, so he mixes and matches as he chooses. He has long professed his admiration and love of Michael Jackson and often incorporates many MJ inspired elements in his music/dress/dance. I'm not a fan of that, but if it makes him happy, that's all I care about. As others have said, there are subtitles that could have helped you better understand the theme.

To be honest, I thought he basically went almost full-on Michael Jackson when he let out “Woo!” after “Woo!” Plus the sequined shirt and the shoes. You'd have to understand the lyrics to understand the point of the three/4 Dimash's. It's about counteracting the dark points in your life with hope and love. This was Dimash's solo concert in September of 2022. It was performed immediately after his Magnum Opus, The Story of One Sky and gave him a very necessary few moments to recover from singing that. He wrote the music himself for this piece, handed it off to the lyricist and then had 20 days to pull off getting the whole holographic feat accomplished ready for the concert. Personally I think it's a stroke of technological genius, each character reflects the section they are singing perfectly and then Dimash combines it with the incredible riffs and runs that he's renowned for. Absolute genius for a concert of this size, (35,000 people). The whole concert was of a standard that had never been witnessed before from anywhere in the world. Quite frankly you could have stuck any part of it in the middle of the Superbowl and people would still have been stunned.

Dimash promised his Spanish speaking fans a song in their language, and this song premiered at the Almaty concert on September 23, 2022, the first concert of his current "Stranger" tour. The lyrics are very important to this song, The different personas and voices imply a philosophical conversation between states of hopelessness and despair because of the darkness of life (black) vs the hopefulness and light that comes from embracing love instead (white) which in turn engage our feelings and touch the heart (red). Dimash's live performance in the last part as a contemporary man against the giant figures which represent different human states of consciousness brings this it into an experience of life lived fully in the moment with all three states present and acknowledged and wholly integrated into the here and now. Rather than creating cognitive dissonance by presenting opposing views, Dimash creates cognitive consonance, a state of harmony between competing emotions, beliefs and values by blending different voices, traditions, tonalities and styles (even expressed in his dress) into a gorgeous tapestry of sound and color that expresses the rich fullness of life. I was reminded of Walt Whitman’s line from the poem “Song of Myself: ‘I am large, I contain multitudes.’ Dimash does contain multitudes, and his art elevates the conflict from a two-dimensional dark vs light, good vs bad, true vs false question into a three-dimensional experience that frees us to live fully from the heart (hear how his high notes soar above and weave it together) without becoming overwhelmed by life's problems or denying the reality of life's darker aspects. Two dimensional conflicts often paralyze us with feelings of helplessness and despair and limit our ability to respond to life's storms appropriately, but when we get to a higher point of view, embrace a higher state of consciousness at the soul level by tapping into the love and peace within, we become the masters of our lives and not the victims of circumstance, and we can act with passion and confidence in the middle of the storms and, with open hearts, let our love within flow out into the world. Dimash's stated mission, to bring unity and peace to the world through his art, is very much evident in this piece. Like in "Story of One Sky," he is very intentional about the message that we need to accept all there is and allow all to have a voice and a presence, not to silence or disappear what we do not like or understand, in our selves or in the outer world. The darkness is our reality as much as the light; the work of our lives is to create a harmonious whole through love that expresses our full humanity. A shout-out to Erlan Bekchurin. The arrangement of this piece is pure genius.

Having been hosting huge stadium solo concerts around the world for years, these R&B runs are nothing new. Dimash's creativity is off the scale and he knows what his audience likes, but he always comes up with these amazing performances to surprise us. Long may he continue. Now in the US and meeting people like David Foster Walter Afanasiev. He was also approached to meet with Hans Zimmer while he was in Germany appearing with Ralph Simon. And by the way, this is not the concept of the concert, it's just one song towards the end of a 4 hour concert, during the rest of which he just sang normally on stage. It is important to understand the context in order to judge, otherwise you are making the wrong conclusions. As to this song - it's an absolute masterpiece and the performance fits the lyrics very well.

Dimash in black is about 70' tall and the white and red are 50'! Dimash jumped off of the 70' tower at the beginning of the concert. It was a solo concert which lasted well over 3 1/2 hours, with 35,000 people in September 2022. This performance was in the last set as was his other premier masterpiece The Story of One Sky which was performed just prior to this. I think part of this song was recorded to give Dimash a little break after the extremely difficult song, (another premier) he’d just performed!
