Here in the Philippines, we still like to hear and sing these kind of sentimental ballad songs of Air Supply, Chicago etc... that is why they are familiar to us but i dont think in other countries they do. You can't expect all reactors to know all songs. The most impt thing is that they are reacting honestly to the singer who is delivering the song. 😊
I always have so much respect for Air Supply and their music. But KC Tandingan's own rendition of this song. To be honest, I didn't love this Air Supply original that much until KC sang it. KC's voice is just so distinct and once she starts singing, you would know that it is KC and not mistake her for somebody else. There's really something about her voice register that gives a different attack and feel to the song that she's singing like this "Two Less Lonely People in the World". The voice, the melody, the arrangement, and the attack all at once give justice to the song. Her version is totally different from the original. The original version has a very strong high notes and she made it her own while it's also hard to sing haha
"Kita Kita" ("I Saw You" ) is Filipino-romantic movie wherein a girl became legally blind ang her Japanese boyfriend just abandoned her. This time, she became friends with a not so beautiful Filipino man, eventually developed a romantic feelings towards him. Eventually, the girl was able to see again but unfortunately she wasn't able to see the guy in person coz the guy died on an accident on the night they were dating but she didn't knew it coz at that time she's still blind. I suggest you watch this movie. It will make you cry 😭
The movie "Kita Kita" or in english "I see you". That movie is happen in japan , a two Filipino cross their way in japan , the girl got blinded after she run when she sees his boyfriend flirting with another girl. After she runs , her vision slowly getting blur and she got unconcious. And a man helped her , the man who heleped her is the man who she always see and her happiness , you will know why when you watched th movie. In the last , the man git car crash in the same time when the girl recovered her vision. She saw the death of her beloved man. In the end , she goes to the man's house , she saw a thaousand paper crane , wich means in japan your wishes will come true when you create a thousand paper cranes , and the woman also sees the mascot that she always play. That movie is really beautiful and and it will make you cry in the end.

Wow I love how you notice things like when the key changed at the end you said, you felt kinda weird and thought her voice were kinda dark for the song. I notice that too but I think the reason why the song felt that way on that part is because of the movie. I think it was meant to feel that way and KZ really did a great job on that. “KITA KITA” means i can see you.. a title of the movie. The main character was blind.. but because of her close rwlationship to the guy she seems to be seeing himthrough touch and the sound of his voice
It's an Air Supply song released in the 80s. The original sounded a little faster and a little more uplifting (less dramatic) and 80s vibe. KZ did her magic to the song. The original song is still recognizable, only different. 😁
