Your really captured the inner being of AURORA: "She's so free". That's really what she's all about. Never fixed, but constantly moving and transforming. Beautiful. Also, if you listen to the same song from, let's say, five different shows, you will get five different performances and experiences. Bloody amazing, if you ask me ;) And, of course, I always enjoy your videos and your absolutely funtastic way you show how the "sounds" are made. Luv you!

I think she draws on the energy surrounding her, be it the crowd, the place.... so it's never exactly the same song. The way her performance switched up when the male choir surprised her in the Haik performance of the Seed is very telling.

@@jimmy-stevenbiemans1486 Sure Angelina Jordan the 16yo from Norway whose been in the studio since she was 6yo. Has about 160 songs here on youtube goi g all the way back. Next is Eivor she is from the Pharese Islands off Norway and is just heavenly she does everyrhing from traditional folk music that sends you on a journey to some indie rock to rock, she can shred! Next is Maria Franz she has multiple projects. She is known for her "Amplified History" group Heilung. Its a shamanic folkmetal based on real archeological findings she I believe is from Denmark. And then you have Lindy who is from the band Wardruna, a female vocalist that everyone wants featured in they're music, eerily powerful singer! Then Katrine is from the band Kalandra and has similar tones to Aurora but can go different ways, more celtic tone but they are from Norway too. If you haven't heard of any of them then you will definitely be taking a journey into the north wind. I would also include Jonna Jilton, she reminds me of a realife Elsa from Disney Frozen, no lie!
@jimmy-stevenbiemans1486
@jimmy-stevenbiemans1486 2 года назад
@@I_scribbles I know all of them but one. I am definitely checking out Katrine from Kalandra. Angelina Jordan is an internet sensation and participant in multiple Got Talent versions, so it is hard to miss her. AURORA collaborated with Wardruna which introduced me to them, and also made me find out about Heilung during a music genre research binge. I think there is a wonderful interview between Elizabeth Zharoff from The Charismatic Voice (also vocal coach) and Maria Franz, but could also be another vocalist for one of these two bands. Definitely check these interviews out though. Eivor and Jonna Jinton make the best music to use in meditation classes. As a meditation teacher, I appreciate their angelic voices since they oh so fit my fairy tale themed classes 🧚🏼‍♂️🧘🏼‍♂️

Nice reaction 😊 She wrote this song at the age of 11, and at that age she didn’t quite understand what song was about. But as she grew older she knew that “home” meant home to her parents ❤️ Aurora is a Norwegian singer/songwriter/dancer and music producer. She plays several instruments like piano, guitar, mandolin and harp (what I know of). She’s born on the 15 of June 1996, she’s from a small place in Os outside of Bergen, and is currently living in her house in Bergen 😍 When she was 6 years old she found an electric piano in the attic after her older sister. Because the power button was broken she had to play with only one hand, and she did that for years. She began writing music without lyrics at the age of 6, and with English lyrics at the age of 9. A couple of her songs that she wrote at the age of 9 is some of her most popular songs. They are “Lucky” and “I went too far” Her family didn’t know about her talent until she was about 13 - 14 years old. She’s self taught when it comes to singing and playing piano.🤩😍 I really hope you’ll continue reacting to Aurora, she has a lot of great songs 😍👍🙏 Could you please react to “Through the eyes of a child” live from Nidarosdomen (cathedral in Norway) 2017 “It happened quiet” live at CURRENT “Murder Song (5,4,3,2,1)” live at the Nobel Peace Prize 2015

I'm addicted to reactors reacting to Aurora. The way she affects them emotionally is incomparable; it's simply wonderful. I loved watching you experience her for the first time; you truly did her justice. Also, your observation skills are wild. Not a single expression or movement of hers went by without your face mirroring it. Luckily, your first Aurora video was a live performance. Many reactors fall into the trap of reacting to Aurora's first music video (which was "Runaway") as their first, but in my opinion, this live performance is the best introduction to Aurora. Always love your reactions and this one is no exception. Would you like to react to a piece of art. I would suggest Aurora singing and pantomiming her brilliant piece of art, THE SEED. The song opens with an Indian proverb, "When the last tree is cut down, the last fish is caught and the last river is poisoned, only then will you realize that you can't eat money" This forms the basis of her message. Well worth the view, very powerful. Keep up the good work.

If the vocal coach is reacting to the music spontaneously and unscripted, she possesses the most remarkable gift of verbal expression, precise, full of insights, wonderfully descriptive and eloquent.

What’s more incredible is how it affects us differently. I see you listening and you can’t stop smiling and feeling yourself. When I listen I can’t stop crying. And I’m supposed to be a “tough guy” . Haven’t seen my kids in 5 years and this month my oldest turns 11.. To know an 11 year old can think this deep completely destroyed me from my core .. 😭

You said it very well, a wonderfully spiritual experience. I had the joy of seeing her live in May and that's exactly how I felt, that it was spiritual. And it was such a good vibe and energy from the entire crowd. I cried when I first saw her, then I cried bc of the songs, then I cried bc I was so close to her even though she was on stage. Then we got to meet her after the show and I was just speechless. My 13 yr old talked to her and got her autograph. I could say nothing more than Thank you. And I think all of the things you said about her, seeing a pixie dancing in a forest and her being connected to nature and in a place where we all should be experiencing life are all DARN.RIGHT.ON. Please react to more Aurora, or all Aurora!! =-)

Really enjoyed your reaction and analysis of this song and artist! Please react to songs from AURORA's iconic Nidarosdomen Concert (with orchestral ensemble, choir, and pipe organ): THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD; LUCKY; LIFE ON MARS (Bowie); LITTLE BOY IN THE GRASS; WALKING IN THE AIR!

I'm a Puerto Rican man not a fan at all of this genre but the same freedom that got me hooked on Aurora I see in you. Bless you.

Welcome to the world of the beautifully otherworldly Aurora! She's just an amazingly beautiful creature. There's so many songs to ask for reactions, but inhale exhale, through the eyes of a child and little boy in the grass are hauntingly beautiful but then again, all Aurora songs transport me to a far more magical and peaceful place xxx

Holy crap just you describing how she holds her mouth and resonates… I can’t believe the difference I can hear in my own voice trying to do the same. It’s been wayyyyyy too long since I’ve had any vocal lessons. Thanks.

Finally, someone who can decipher Aurora and even replicate her sound. You're the best. Both she and Angelina both come from Norway. Wonder if it's the water? Wonder if they know each other? Wonder if they could sing anything together? One high and one low. Maybe not.

You truly are RU-vid's best-kept secret. If by any chance this comment reaches you, I'd like to genuinely thank you for unapologetically being who you are. I feel like, in this disingenuous world of appearance and fabricated persona, you stand out as one of the most magical, fragile, purest souls I've ever witnessed behind a screen. Showing your face without mask, appreciating, while never judging, and showcasing your abilities to help others and not to put yourself forth. What an extraordinary spirit you are, sweet fairy voice mother. Your analysis of Aurora's voice is second to none. And I am not talking about the technical aspect of it, but far more importantly about the emphasis you put on seeing her voice - and by extent the human voice - as a holistic and spiritual process. Aurora is probably one of the most instinctive singers out there. She wrote this song when she was 12 years old. You don't think in terms of thin-folds/thick-folds/head-voice/mix-voice/belt/soft palate/tilted larynx/resonance space when you're a child. I think that what makes her stand out as a fairy, precisely is her still being extraordinarily in touch with her inner child. And that's, without a doubt, something you two have in common. The way you described Aurora at the end is exactly how I see you. "A glimpse of what the human experience could be like if we get rid of our preconceptions, and addiction to comparing ourselves to everyone else." I'll end this comment by taking a minute to appreciate how benevolent your eyes are as you watch Aurora coming out of her performance. Words can be scripted, but your gaze says it all in that one instant. Pure love and empathy. Thank you.

Loic: Beautifully composed elegy to Lolli ... you put into words why she is such an extraordinary vocal analyst ... she sees the 'instrument' as a manifestation of the person ... she did the same with Angelina Jordan's performance of 'I Put a Spell on You' at the age of 9 ... recognised immediately that, like a dancer or athlete, she was visualising the idealised goal and freeing her body/voice to achieve it. Aurora does the same. In both artists, what you end up with is total commitment which is personal ... it demands the same from the audience. R (Australia)

Hi Fairy, you found another fairy! The way she uses her voice is enchanting, along with body movement, barefoot, grounded, spiritual. Lots more to discover. Did a CD explode on your head? Glitter gets everywhere :)

"It Happened Quiet" is amazing. Her cover of "Teardrop" by Massive Attack is also amazing. As is "God is a Woman...." Damn, everything she touches turns to fairy gold.

Greetings from Scotland! Isn't she incredible to see and hear! If you are unique, there is no comparison point so you cannot compare and do not need to compare, if that if that makes sense? As far as I am concerned, there are two absolutely unique singers in this world, Aurora and Diana Ankudinova. Completely different in age and styles, but both super unique and incomparable to any living singer ! Aurora wrote this at 11yo! That fact alone says a huge amount about her personality! Simply a vocal genius! Both Diana and Aurora have had difficult, "Interesting" young childhoods, for very different reasons. I believe this is what "creates" such dramatic uniqueness and huge talents like these two. Great analysis and great reaction as always! Waiting with anticipation for the next Diana or Aurora reaction/analysis! Love ya! 😊😊🤗🤗
