I am the honest vocal coach! I have been teaching for 15 years and been singing since I was 16. I teach from my own studio and also teach and mentor via email, and online via Live & Skype. I specialise in teaching children, and teenagers pop and musical theatre but I am trained in all genres of music. I have studied every voice technique there is, including Speech Level Singing, Estill, Bel Canto, Robert Lunte, London College of Music, ABRSM, Ria Keen, Kim Chandler, Stevie Van Lange and many more. I have been around!
In 2008 I wrote the Vocaltutor Guide, 21 set lessons for singing teachers to get started, learning to teach, and produced 3 vocal exercise CD/Downloads.
I am now working on my first online singing programme. The Foundations of Singing that will be available on Udemy.

Ed has such a soothing voice, you're right about the velvet sound of his voice. I like Ed, so tender. I dont get what some people are talking about, Beyonce did so well! She is a great singer, ugh so many haters. One of my favourite singers of today. Please watch the Homecoming concert it will blow you away. Also Georgina please react to Whitney "A quiet place 1987" and also Whitney - saving all my love for you 1985 live on Letterman!

Honestly I dislike the studio version of the duet but this live version is amazing. Yes you are right their voices compliment each other in this live version where else they don't in the studio version. I didn't notice Beyonce forgot the words until you spill it out hahaha but I prefer this version 😍😍😍

just offering this as a possible reason that he uses a smaller guitar. the timbre is a bit higher so it is a nice contrast to his voice. a weightier guitar would compete with his voice. a bit more. I'm only suggesting this because I recently discovered that when I played my piano chords an octave up it allowed my baritone register to shine a lot more.

No she didn’t. She was supposed to say “fighting against all odds” but she sort of warbles “fighting against” ‘cause she forgot but she got back on “all odds”.

Can Beyonce hit the low notes cleanly? Sounds like she’s covering it with slightly higher vibrato runs. Her voice lost volume at the real key it is in.

Well she was dancing her ass off, so she is outta breath. She made the decision to do the runs to cover up her exhaustion. She can defintely sustain lower notes

Her breath was faster than usual because of being dancing just before this. I think that's why she had trouble holding long notes.

Beyonce's cheesy trade-mark cheap vibrato ruins it. Sheeran should never have accepted her management's begging invitation. They all wanted a piece of him.
