Listen, no one is trying to steal credit away from Jin, but when Jimin and Jin hit high notes, they sound very similar sometimes. I hear both Jin and Jimin in the high note, but Jin slightly overpowers Jimin. There is no way to know for sure until there is a live performance. It’s very easy to mix up bts vocals when they hit a really really high note. Both Jin and Jimin may sing the note live, or just Jin. Thats the same way V and Jimin sang the high note in Answer. Another thing to think about is the high note in Dope. Jimin sings the high note in the studio version, but people assume its Jungkook bc he lip syncs that part in the mv. When they sing dope live however, Jungkook does sing the high note, not Jimin. This is exactly what I mean. Jin fans are fighting that its just Jin and that Jimin fans always want to claim Jins high notes. That’s simply not the case. There is no way to know who sings the high note. It sounds like a mix of the both of them. So stop being bratty and claiming that its only Jin cuz you feel he’s being cheated somehow. It ridiculous. Wait till they sing the song live to claim who sings the high note. But even that means nothing bc Jin can sing the high note alone live, when they both could’ve sang it in studio.
Jin has always bern great. It's just that he wasn't given a chance to shine like the others. Now he's showing his potential. Yes he has improved a ton. But he has improved a long time ago. It's just ppl's preferances and biases that didn't enable them to appreciate his vocals. Infact jin is the one who does a lot of high notes from the start along with jimin. I agree that Jin has been a fantastic sing for a very long time. I think some people toss the phrase he’s improved around sometimes because they don’t note the song timelines. Many haven’t even heard all of their song where Jin was impressive and sang the killing parts and killed it.

hanana na jin was always good but it’s not a lie to say that he sings even better now. Vocalist should just get better over time the more they learn how to control their voice. I personally think that Jin used to sound like he was forcing himself a bit when trying to hit certain notes. Now he is much more effortless.

@@notagname how did you say it's backing vocal? Did you see them performed it live? It was obviously a harmonization just like what VMin did in Answer love myself. Jimin's highnote is so clear and leading on that part so there's no way that it's just a background vocal.

Jin's VOICE has been acknowledged not only by the Grammy panelists as a "silver" voice, but also the KMA (Korean Music Awards), the Grammy counterpart in Korea, has singled out Jin's voice when BTS won Fake Love as KMA's Song of the Year in 2019, and, of course, they acknowledged Epiphany as THE song that stands out among all the solos in the Love Yourself albums. His vocal coach, the famous Ms. Kim Sungeun, said in an interview that Jin was her BEST BTS STUDENT as his voice did NOT improve but actually TRANSFORMED! Remember, Jin was an acting major who never sang or danced before joining BTS. Although Jin is now entrusted by Big Hit with delivering most of the high notes, together with Jimin, listen carefully and you'll see that hIs LOWER notes are also surprising--I sometimes thought it was V singing. So his RANGE is also amazingly wide. His low raspy vocal in the second chorus of spinebreaker is misunderstood as v.... even in colour coded lyrics.... and u cant differentiate his low raspy vocals from v.... his vocal range is great

He has always had something very special about him and it is about time he isn't used just for harmonizing & background vocals. This is a great summer ditty, driving with the windows down.
i'm so proud to jin, not victimizing him but i like watching reaction videos and jin wouldn't get noticed because he was overshadowed because the reactor is biased to their "cup of tea" style/vocal tones. Praises for other members are OKAY, they deserve it. I have an issue only when reactors do not apprrciate jin when he's doing something amazing. Im not saying to praise the other members less, that's not my point. I am pointing to give credit to where is due specially whoever the member is doing amazing. Truth dear😭i've seen many reaction video that usually made me dissapointed bcause they did'nt even noticed jin's part bcause they were to focused on jimin and jungkook bcause they had the most lines in bts songs.Jimin and jungkook deserved that but i just hope atleast they should focused on Jin and Tae's vocals tooo.i just hope people will treat BTS fairly without underrated some of them🤧
Zero o'clock is one of my favorite song. Mr. Lim Hyungju (the Grammy pannel and famous popera singer) said Jin's voice is like a silver. And Kim Youngdae (Korean famouse music critic) said when Jin sings in live, I feel the light like silver seems to spread out. And please react Moon. Jin wrote and compose the song for ARMY. And I also recommend you 'so far away' and 'let go (Stage cam(BTS focus) @ 191215 Magic shop in Bangtan TV)'. they are all beautiful songs.
Jin 💜💜💜 Their voices have different colors, all beautiful and may be able to hit the same high notes in different ways. Technically speaking, however, Jin being a stable “belter” makes a lot of difference by enhancing the power and intensity of every BTS song’s climax. He also has great control thus making his lines extraordinarily emotional. Jin, borahae! 💜💜💜
Jin's voice is so underrated but he is an amazing singer and has improved so much over the years. You need to listen to Jin's Awake and Epiphany song if you haven't already.

I see you getting some "hate" for saying Jin has improved. A lot of people don't realize that musicians are trained to view things critically and that they can't always gush over things. It's just not how musicians are made. However I know what you mean. Jin was always good, but he has worked very hard to become great and he's really starting to shine. It's a joy to witness hard work paying off.

Well jin isn't somehow underappreciated now like back then..he's been continually praised by some famous people and organization it just that somehow because of biases between the fandom his voice or song is quiet feel like underappreciated. But I'm pretty sure most Armys appreciates him.

If you pay attention to their concerts, Jin's voice is always very stable. He doesn't have special vocal tone, but he has been practicing so hard on his vocal techniques, so he can always deliver every song really well.
U know u don't have to involve other members for praising one. Just praise one member without shading on other. Because of these things people hate on solos and say they are disrespectful.
The high note was of jin and jimin and jimin was on higher note but jin was leading that's why jimin voice was not that clear but if you focus you can hear his voice.
i couldn't heart it till you pointed that out. Jin is doing the main part (C#5) and Jimin is doing a falsetto on the background (G#5). I just love jinmin's voices together, it's so beautiful :')

Also jin can do really high notes too and his tone is all I can here but we will see when they perform it live.

석진이 최애인데 '진의 보컬이 향상했다'는 이 유튜버의 말이 달갑지 않게 느껴진다. 왜일까? 왜 내 최애를 칭찬하는 말이 그렇게 느껴질까 생각해봤는데, 내가 지금까지 들어온 진의 보컬은 늘 좋았기 때문이다. 물론 성장했다. 진은 꾸준히 노력해왔고 항상 성장한 모습을 보여줬으며 지금도 그러하다. 그러나 이 유튜버가 보이는 반응은 지금 이 곡으로 석진이 엄청난 성장을 한것으로 보이게 만든다. (지금까지 석진의 보컬을 어떻게 생각해왔는가 궁금하다🧐) 하지만 진은 처음 커버곡인 '엄마'에서 고음에서도 단단한 보컬을 보여줬고 그 고음을 더욱더 안정된 보컬로 가다듬어왔다.(개인적인 의견) 이 유튜버가 진의 실력을 향상했다라고 말하기에는 진의 보컬에 대해 별로 알고있는게 없는거 같아서 그렇게 느껴지는것 같다. 오히려 '진의 보컬이 이렇게 좋은줄 몰랐다.' 혹은 '진의 고음 실력에 놀랐다'는 반응이었다면 이런 기분이 들지는 않았을 것 같다. 좀 예민하게 반응하는 것 같은 느낌도 있지만, 개인적 감상이니까...😂 (영어로 하는 리액션이라 내가 뉘앙스를 잘못 느끼는 것일수도..?) 방탄은 개인개인별로 실력이 뛰어나다.다만 그 개인들이 갖고있는 매력들이 다양해서 각자 그 매력이 발휘되는 곡들이 조금씩 차이가 있다고 생각한다. 다양한 곡을 들어봐야 방탄 멤버들의 보컬적 매력을 더욱 다양하게 느낄 수 있는 것도 방탄의 장점이 아닐까...🤣
