Great reaction !! When I first heard this, I don't know how many times I played it, I was stunned ! I'm a 62 year old and have had the privilege of hearing some great singers from all genres of music in my time, so when I first heard about this so-called Greatest Singer in the world I was skeptical. In fact I ignored it until I saw it again a couple of weeks later. Out of curiosity I clicked on it. The song was SOS. I have never been the same since and that was nearly a year ago !! he is a vocal beast. technical, emotional, on pitch almost every time. if he is singing an emotional song, you are in tears before he hits a single high note. his highs, his lows, his opera voice, his mix, his belt, oh and that heavenly head voice... he is one of the best vocalists I've seen in my entire life and believe me I've seen a lot.

This was actually the first performance for the China competition's new season of The Singer 2017 [which was why the crowd was excited for it to start at the beginning] -- but what is often overlooked is that he was pretty much a complete unknown to that audience [he's from Kazakhstan and didn't speak any Chinese at that time], and he was the least expected or anticipated to do much since he was pretty much unknown to the audience [which is why he was placed to go first -- the most anticipated singers were set to perform last on that episode]. This was the first time the China audience and other performers in the back room on the show heard him sing. Between his first performance ["S.O.S." in French] and his 2nd performance [Vita's "Opera 2" in Russian], he quickly won their hearts completely.
