She’s sings “uniquely” because she sings in that style based on her Arabic/Moroccan heritage and has really embraced that side of her. You can really hear that in the “Prince of Egypt” song, very similar to how she sings to Joseph’s real mom. Or a lot of the songs from Aladdin.

She's Actually from North africa (Morocco), she has that unique Andalusian style Vibrato that people usually think Its a Middle eastern style.
