I don’t think he was struggling to hit that note at all. Whether good or bad, he has several habits or ticks while performing. He often tends to tilt to the right with his head and mouth shape, he usually hooks his pinky around the mic stand (which he couldn’t do during this performance because of the gloves), he occasionally kicks his heel with his other foot, and more. More of these quirks come out when he’s particularly into the performance or when it’s a climactic part of the song. That G# isn’t even close to the top of his belting range so I think it might have been due to emotion. As someone else pointed out, he had a really rough week before this performance and the song is already emotional as is. Thank you so much for reacting to Harry! I’d love to see more in the future. 💚
I’m laughing cuz, I like the fact that ppl who really enjoy seeing him perform and who are so inspired by him, start to notice these things that you normally wouldn’t notice on ppl who you don’t like as much. Idk, it just seems funny cuz I imagine all that you said😂
I have no idea if and how it affects his vocals, but it was a particularly emotional performance for him (with having a few sad (and bad) events happening to him the past few days prior the performance) as well as I believe he finds it quite emotional to perform it in general. Would love you to cover more Harry reactions, btw:) He's a brilliant live performer!
I am sorry hun, he is not struggling at all. This is the way he performs, way the way back when he started he has done that! His octaves and his control of his voice is amazing! With this new LP only proves he is a musical genius. All of the instruments he uses in all his songs, the way he sings with such clarity. I can't wait to see what his future will bring! Not to many young performers break out like he has, good for him!
I agree with everyone else. Harry is a well talented singer and this performance was not his best vocally, just because he was about to cry through half of it. I mean why don't you try performing at the Brits after losing your ex girlfriend and good friend to a suicide the day before, and after being robbed at knife point, barely coming out of it alive on valentines day(about a week before this performance), and then losing both awards you were nominated for meerly 20 minutes before. His emotion was mainly about his friend, Caroline Flack though. Please, i am not going to judge you for judging harry, because you are a reactor, and that is your job, but i think you should do a bit of research before criticizing an famous artist about their vocal technique, when it obviously wasn't the best vocal performance. I think next you should react to "13 times Harry Styles's vocals had me shook" or his "Tiny Desk NPR concert" next to learn more about Harry. He is truly a great artist and he is worth getting to know. Please react to him more. Thank you!! xx
he's not struggling, he's moving his head because he is emotional. I would like you to try singing the song haha lets see how you try hitting those notes. I don't think you need to be commenting on his technics, he has after all been singing professionally for 10 years and has probably and still is working with some of the best vocal coaches there are, if he did something that would damage his voice they would probably correct him on that. He has hit waaaay higher notes before without even trying so...
@@katinkaaa2951 I agree on both your two comments. Harry wasn't struggling to hit that note I'm tired of seeing vocal coaches criticizing him for nothing. And yeah you sounded a little agressive but as you didn't mean to be, it's fine. Its nice seeing some people still able to correct their mistakes. Have a nice day sweetheart
I dont see why voice teachers on youtube try to say singers like harry struggle with big notes as if they dont have coaches of their own working with them. They know what they are doing its clearly stylistic seeing as how harry does that right head tilt and mouth shape every performance
I am a Directioner since the start and I STAN HARRY a lottttt but I see people here blaming this guy for what ya'll asked for! I mean, he is just doing his job. It's his honest reaction. Appreciate that. Y'all attacking him with weird comments does not pass the message of "treat people with kindness" what Harry is trying to tell the world. So chill tf out. We all know and he knows too that Harry has an amazing voice. :)
Thanks for your reaction. I think it was more that it took a lot of breath to sing that whole line plus finishing on a higher note. The note itself is not that difficult for Harry so this is my assumption.
First, I don't understand why all the reactors pause the video right in the middle of that big note; I would think you would want to hear how well he sustains the note and how he comes down from that note before making comments. Second, I agree with everyone else; he doesn't seem straining at all to hit that note. I think it is very impressive the way he went from where this song was vocally to that big not in such a short time, and with no real build up. All the other reactors I have watched for this performance mention how you can tell he ISN'T straining to reach the note and how it just shows how much talent Harry really has.
It's not always effort...... Sometimes singers are even short of breath for chest voices which make those veins pop...... I am a singer myself and have experienced it a hell lot of times ......
your not aware obviously of the range Harry's vocals has.You should have done some research before comment on someone you do not no anything about.Harry can and has had lots of higher pitched songs but apperently you don't know ..hence your wrongful comments.
Some people naturally just have veins come on their necks etc whilst singing why do all these vocal coaches assume it’s tension and struggling with hitting a note .....use your ears he didn’t struggle that was a well sustained stable note he wasn’t struggling at all 🤷🏻♀️ he didn’t pick up on the couple of times he was actually a little pitchy and was either just under or over the actual note (not that I care he sounds amazing ) but to not notice that as a vocal coach but notice throat tension because of a vein when no tension was there baffles me 🙄 and when you moved your neck to show what he was doing your vein showed so we’re you struggling to talk ? Nope I don’t think you were it’s just our anatomy he moved his neck and was belting a note it wasn’t throat tension or struggling ......not knocking you just my opinion keep doing ya vids ❤️
Pretty sure he does it for show. There isnt much in movement that he can do with most of his music on stage so Im sure he doesnt it for show. He rocks side to side a lot in his performances as well
