I am italian and I really love the fact that after 5 years people still comment this amazing performance and that foreign people keep making video reactions to it, it makes me proud of being italian, but at the same time I get upset realizing they didn't win the 2015 Eurovision because let's be honest, they absolutely deserved to win.
Thanks for reacting to Il volo! I love them! I just went to their concert in Florida last month! I understand why you blushed when Gianluca did that little twinkle 😍😍😍 he made my 9 year old daughter feel so special at the concert, he came down to the crowd and hold her hand went down in one knee and sing part of o sole mío to her while he was holding her, he asked her name and if she was happy, my little girl was over the moon and she also got a kiss on the cheek from both Gianluca and Piero ( the one with the glasses) girl what can I say? I’m forever grateful to them.
I don’t Ignazio is a rock singer, all three of them are classical singers the only difference is that Gianluca is not a tenor he is a baritone and Ignazio is considered a light tenor and Piero is a dramatic tenor at least that’s what I read in Wikipedia, they come from an italian voice programs called Ti lascio una canzone
@@evelynsanchez1226 they may be all classically trained, but they sing different styles. Not only does wikipedia(what you just referenced) state that, but you can see it and hear it for yourself. The way they shape their resonance tracts is TOTALLY different, plus their different vibratos and tones.
Rosannasfriend well I have to use Wikipedia because I’m not a vocal coach nor I have any knowledge on this particular subject, I’m a nurse not an artist, but thanks for your expertise.
I discovered these boys in August of 2019 and it turned into an obsession instantly. Had the privilege to see them live in Chicago (February 15th, 2020) and they are truly better live than they are even on the albums. Thanks for reacting 😘
Am Irish, live in England and whenever people here complain about how badly the UK does in the Eurovision I think of this… This song is an absolute belter (I adore it too… it makes me melt), and the UK has not put in a song anywhere near to this standard for a long long long time. I love how much you get into this song!
Yes, these boys are incredibly wonderful singers. But more importantly, they are awesome entertainers. Watch how they engage with the audience. The end result is a beautiful performance that moves the audience and hopefully sells a lot of tickets to their next concert. Bravo.
You could do another of them. Their singing has highly improved as they matured. I mean, they started at 15, 16 years old and now they're going in their 30's. Their live performances are absolutely amazing. Il Volo aside, love your work! Greetings from Brazil!
I loved how you be excited when they sing. They are my favourite group, I love their voices and found this video made my day. Listening to these voices live is the best in life
That’s great u explained exactly how supposed to be and why ...diferentes between opera and pop opera or rock. I love this song and this band. Forza Italia 🇮🇹 siamo tutti uniti 🙌 Grazie 🙏🏼😚
Thanks so much!! My favorite group. Have been to many of their concerts, and have met them wonderful guys, trying to make classical Italian music, more popular with young people and sung in a more pop way. Love love them.
I love Il Volo, I saw them live and wooooow!!! They sing so beautifully... I was looking through your videos for them and ahhh!!! Thank you so much!!! I think they need more attention!!! Same, When Gianluca winked I also blushed!!
A long time ago, I watched you react to Juan Gabriel (a very talented singer in my country; Mexico) and I was so emotional, but today I'm screaming so hard cause these Italian men are my everything. 😍😂 And they in fact sing “liric pop” not opera. Gianluca Ginoble (who starts the song) is a baritone. Ignazio Boschetto (the taler one) is a tenor just like Piero Barone (the other one with glasses). 🤗 I really felt your emotion. The fans we really get as crazy as this when we listen to them specially live in concert. 😂

1:04. There are songs, like this one, that can be recognized from the first notes. A song that I also always recognize from the first two notes is the famous and beautiful even Italian song….”Caruso”.
Coming back to comment to see if you have listened to their new English version of this. They arranged it with a more electronic feel to it and just sang it at ESC 2022.
Even today, after so many years, it remains one of the greatest injustices perpetrated in the global singing scene. Obviously there was a lot of politics involved in boycotting these artists of ours and not even the avalanche of votes they received was enough to restore the ill-gotten gains that the juries' vote had caused. They will always be the moral winners.
Terribly beautiful song Grande Amore -Big Love ..... God I wish this terrible suffering to end / Covid 19 / .... It's terrible all over the world God, please give us all health all over the world health, happiness a lot of love, understanding ... Thank God
It's such a shame they had to do a shorter version of this at Eurovision due to the time limit. Still I loved it. I believe this was the first year Australia got to compete and vote in it. These guys got mine.
An interesting group of artists for you can be "Avantasia" with the song "The scarecrow" 2 so different voices at the same time with an amazing melody..
First of all, thank you for this video, it was very interesting to watch because I was curious to find out if you'd be able to change my approach about this song. That didn't happen, sorry 😅 mostly because I can't get over how much of a cliché this performance was (I'm Italian). I like Il Volo, they're talented and also very down to earth, easy going-funny guys, but the song is just... not for me. Especially the songwriting, which plays a crucial role in Italian music and these words sound like something a boy or a girl would write on their school diary about their crush... All well covered with the "epicness" of the arrangement both musical and vocal. With that being said I can easily admit and admire the talent they all have been gifted with. Beautiful voices indeed and again, super nice guys. Despite my thoughts about it I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊 Thank you Beth! Stay safe!
They are my favorite group, right now I am studying English, but I also want to study Italian, I would like to understand what you say about my Volos amo I love you Gianluca. "Iike" if there is any ilvolover😍 Son my grupo favorito, ahorita estoy estudiando inglés, pero también quiero estudiar italiano 😍😍😍😍😍 te amo Gianluca. Iike so hay alguna ilvolover😍 cv
There are no enough words how much I loved Il Volo at Eurovision that year. Really lovely reaction, thanks! Why don't you react to Ermal Meta & Fabrizio Moro "Non mi avete fatto niente", Eurovision 2018 performance? Two different voices, one raspy and screamy, the other more armonious..
I dont know if you could react to a choir singing but a very emotional and close song to me is "Hurt" by Eric Whitacre, or the Johnny Cash version is just as good!
