Geoff saw Mariah Carey as a kid and told himself he was going to have a range like hers. He did it but somehow ended up on the opposite end of the piano.
@@johndeeregreen4592 Hopefully you're not wasting it. You might not have his tonality but it doesn't matter that's mostly subjective. Someone else might not like his but maybe they will like the way you sound.
One thing I've noticed about Geoff after being a Voiceplay fan for a while, if he starts belting high notes, he's about to drop an earth-shattering low note. I've learned to mentally prepare myself when that happens.
You seem to really enjoy Voiceplay. I'm surprised to see how few reactions you have to their videos! Especially since J.None is one of the coaches at your studios. You definitely need more Voiceplay reactions in your life! Lol. You can't go wrong with anything Voiceplay!
Tara only likes to do real first time reactions. I'm guessing since j. None is a coach she has already seen a lot of their work but I don't know. Just a guess.
I have watched hundreds of reactions and I can honestly say your reaction was one of the very best. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, for not interrupting and for being such a nice person. Can't wait to see another of your reactions, hopefully a reaction of voiceplay or geoff. Take care.
Every performer in Voiceplay is: 1) a super competent vocalist (well above average), 2) obsessive with details and perfection, 3) a gifted actor. This group is so impressive and they always find a way to surprise me (and probably everybody else). 😊
What we really need to bring the real christmas spirit would be to see Tara reacting to Nanowar of steel - valhalleluja. Awesome lyrics and nice combination of choir music and metal with some awesome and funny lyrics, can it get any better?
Your squeaks are awesome when Geoff hits those CRAZY low notes! Please keep reacting to these awesome videos. Been watching you for quite some time. Thank you!
Thank you for such a sweet, happy reaction! Yes, we all need a bit more happy! Also, Geoff'sversion of Mele Kalikimaka is awesome as well! Merry Christmas!
Wonderful reaction! I love this version of You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch. So cool that J. None is a vocal coach at your studio! He's so crazy talented (the whole group is!).
Considering they are in Orlando, that Grinch could very well be the one from Universal Studios Orlando. It looks exactly like the one they use for their winter shows at the park.
@@RedRoseSeptember22 😂😂 Haha true...and me, too. Happily! ♡ Aaand, also true: those bass notes are so low that you 'hear' them w your whole dang body. 🤷🏼♀️💅🏽🤪
Holy deckballs! I think I may have just been introduced to my new favourite band.. that bass.. *swoon* I can’t STAND it when they have such beautiful low tones, gives me goosebumps! Absolutely bloomin’ amazing! Thank you Tara!💕 x
Voiceplay is amazing! You can't go wrong with any of their songs, but definitely check out their Little Mermaid Medley and Boy Bands in 5 Minutes. You won't be disappointed! The bass (Geoff Castellucci) has several bass covers on his channel that are not to miss! His most recent are Male Kalekemaka, Blackbird, and The Headless Horseman.
@@daynanoneya3068 I just got done listening to the little mermaid medley... for the second time 🤣 It’s absolutely amazing! I laughed & sang (rather terribly!) throughout. Why on Earth I’ve got heard of them before I don’t know. I’ve really got into A Capella bands over the past few years & these guys really are at the top of their game! Off to find the boy bands one now, then I shall seek out Geoffs! Thank you so much for the recommendations 😁💕 xx
I don't know anything about you but I can't stop watching your videos. Especially those Morisette reactions. Also you're soooooo BEAUTIFUL, Tara! Godbless! ❤️✨
Awesome reaction ma'm! Voiceplay is amazing. Time to do some Pentatonix reactions???? "Thank you" or just about anything from "We Need a Little Christmas". Nobody breaks down the technical vocal aspects of Pentatonix like you do. VERY helpful and informative! Keep up the great work. We all love you! Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Grinch is currently the same actor playing him at Universal Studios Florida's Grinchmas event. Neither Voiceplay nor Universal is revealing his identity -- they play the "he's real" game for the kids like Disney does -- but there's rumors going around that it might be Tony Wakim, who is not only a former member of Voiceplay itself, but who has in the past played the Grinch in the Grinchmas event before.
I'd love to think I'm a base, but to hear Geoff.....Oh my goot-ness! He is amazing! Thank you for your reactions. I love it when you squeal with glee. Thank you for being so sweet in your videos. Lots of fun and smiles to watch. Merry Christmas Tara.
As anyone knows that Voicepaly originally hailed from Orlando Florida. Geoff and others gotten their starts there. I think actor who is Grinch works at Universal Studios in Orlando.
I know it's past Christmas, and this may be outside your normal reactions, but I'd love to see you react to The Small Town Titans version of this song!
I still want to hear Geoff do a full on tribute to Thurl Ravenscroft. He can get that same edge that made this song and Grim Grinning Ghosts work so well.
If you want some great videos to watch for more of Geoff's low note awesomeness I'd highly recommend his cover of The Headless Horseman and Voiceplay's Little Mermaid Melody ft. Rachel Potter!
I've only discovered Voiceplay recently. And, oh boy! Do I love em. You should react to their video of Frozen 2. It also features Adriana Arellano. Her voice really shines in this one. While I really love Rachel Potter. I first saw her on x factor USA. She sang a country version of Queens Somebody To Love. Can't remember how far she got, before she was voted off. Anyway, love her performances with Voiceplay. I equally enjoyed Adriana's vocals too.
I don't know if you have already, but Tara, you have to react to Valhalleluja by Nanowar of Steel. I guarantee it will put the biggest smile on your face!
I'm still new to Voice Play so I'm not sure who is who yet , but have you heard Geoffs 'Headless Horseman', it's so fun. Also, Tara, you look way better with no blonde (just naturally beautiful)
Tara you were asking who playing The Grinch? It is reported that Geoff has friends at Universal Studios in Orlando. Grinch is the Grinch at Universal. I don't know actor's name playing Grinch.
Geoff has done a bunch of solo work lately. If you really want to take a moment to appreciate the man's range and skill, check out "16 tons" as well as "Blackbird". It's all him and the songs will blow your mind and I'm sure we'd all love to see your reaction. I promise it won't disappoint.
O M G the bass is incredible , in my youth , high school , i had that bass quality , i am well out of school and cant sing well anymore , i sang along with the bass line and , well , i need work to bring that bass back
Please react to one of Home Free's new original Christmas songs. Warmest Winter is slow & very meaningful, Cold Hard Cash is a funny take on Christmas presents (both co-written by high tenor Austin Brown), or possibly What We Need is Love or Snowglobe (both co-written by Tim Foust their super-bassman & both displaying his awesome 5 octave range) Thank you for all the Christmas reactions!! Happiest of Holidays to you!! 🎄🎁🎊🎉
