Tom Walker is so pure. I’ve seen him in Newcastle last year and I was literally blown away by his vocals. I strongly recommend “Fade Away” as there’s a lot of his essence in that song. Thanks for the video by the way! You’re the best company when it’s cookies and milk time
every few weeks I find that song again in one of my playlists and I'll be lost in replaying it over and over again - it's just so good (the acoustic version is also amazing!)
Oh wow... That was great. What a performance. He is so soulful and it cut through me like.... I can't describe it. Very nice indeed. 💕💖✨🎵🎤 Thank you for that Rebecca 🐝💖🙏
I'm not familiar with Tom Walker but after watching this video I will definitely be checking out more of his music. I am always looking for music that I haven't heard before and often find that in your videos. Thank you for that!
Your emotional reaction is something I connect with so much. I truly appreciate your reactions and as a singer/musician I just can't get enough of your videos! It's so incredible how Music can bring forth emotions like that in such a strong manor and it really shows that it has an effect on people they probably don't even realize.
Crafting words to properly convey the emotion is so important. "Take care of my broken soul" captures that hidden pain that many of us have inside but don't share, even though we keep hope for someone to share with, love us with all our cracks and bruises, and hold us with love to heal. At least that is how I interpreted it. Very powerful line.
Love knowing I'm not the only person that has no control over emotions when music moves you. Once again though Ben Howard, after the affair, live on Jules Holland... Do me a solid, that's right a solid and give it a reaction I know only you can give 👍
The person that told you "are you having a baby?" cause you cry when music gets you doesnt understand that very special feeling you get when you listen to certain melodies, lyrics, singers. I cry everytime that happens too (I actually cried with you at the exact same moment you explained all of this)... Those people dont know what they are missing (Im not even gonna mention how sexist tha comment is... oh sorry I guess I already did)
I saw him live in Leeds just before he brought out “Walk Alone” with Rudimental. He’s honestly phenomenal live, I’d argue much better than is shown in this video. Especially with “leave a light on” - his most popular song
You are such a cool lady. Music is all about emotion and I love the fact that you can feel that. That alone probably makes you a great vocal coach. Thank you.
Rebecca's humm at 1:50 made me realise I want see her sing rather than just react. This song is pretty close to perfect for you to sing. Wow that was so synchronised !!!
I love how the true power of music not only emotionally grabs you and moves you but how it also calls on a biologically physical response. A true testament to how profoundly in touch you are with music, it's beautiful.
The venue is clearly a repurposed church sanctuary. The pipe organ is still intact visually. I would bet there was PLENTY of natural reverb there too, but it was kept out of the mix with the close miking. I also noted the pews were still installed in the gallery which most likely has a stepped floor. Many churches have removed their pews and have removable chairs so the space can be used for various purposes. Just an observation from another musician... (O:
I dont know if you heard it or not but what hurts the most by rascal flats is one of my favorite songs. But it's a sad song and brings me to tears every time I hear it but I love it so much. If you haven't you should check it out please.
Devin Townsend's Terminal, Pentagram's Windmills and Chimes, Opeth's Lovelorn Crime, Beth Hart Leave a Light On, the Beauty of Falling Leaves and the theme from the Littlest Hobo (I'm Canadian) do that to me.
Please react to Cory Wells - Walk Away. I promise this will get you VERY emotional too... but his voice is really unique and this song is incredible. ♥
Rebecca, Cute Kitty Suki "pop up" I'm guessing is name., lol. I don't know this vocalist so I didn't put a "Like" but your adorably a beauty (^3^) back at you!
I wasn't too familiar with his work so I looked up his influences and as predicted Paolo Nutini and especially Maverick Sabre are listed. You can definitely hear their influences in his "dialect" as you put it when he stylises his pronunciation
I became familiar with him mostly after his collaboration with an Italian singer, Marco Mengoni. Beautiful voice!! Now, I suggest you that song - Marco Mengoni "Hola (I Say)" ft. Tom Walker - Thanks! 😊
This guy gives me serious Citizen Cope vibes. Good stuff but check him out as well if you haven't yet. Bullet And A Target is beautiful song to start with.
Once again you provide me with something new and unexpected. I love what feeling this kind of singing and plan gives me. Thank you Rebecca. Love you too. Oh and uh....Suki's attitude seems to be IDGAF. Sokay......she's a cat.
