Dimash sings not only neo-classics, but also pop songs, which, at first glance, seem much simpler and easier. But Dimash makes his pop songs of very high quality. Dimash is sometimes on MTV but he brings out his own music and will never sign to be on the radio. He tells you even in this song that nobody can control him. (His music, he makes the music how he whants to.) Dimash sings in 16 languages and sings with emotion. For somebody from a other country he does a amazing job.

Great reaction! I agree with you that most Dimash's songs are not main stream songs and probably won't be played on a regular radio station. Also, many of his songs are so captivating that I prefer not to listen to them while I'm doing something else (driving, cooking,...) because it's dangerous :-D I love this song very much, and I wish it was played on the radio around the world, I think it's really cool! 😄 you have not been exposed to the full Dimash repertoire if you thought he mostly sings neoclassical pieces. Go back to his first big Chinese concerts where he sings every type of song genre. This is Dimash. Pop, rock, neoclassical, classical, romantic, poetic, silly, etc. He has concert videos on his RU-vid channel so it would be very instructive for you to watch several of his solo concerts by year. His English improved from 2017 to 2018 and kept getting better every year. His speaking English is still a work in progress but much better each year. And his dance skills have also improved each year. FYI, Dimash has four upcoming concerts starting in March 2022 through April 2022. In Dubai, Minsk, Prague and Duesseldorf.

I like this poppy side of him! you're right, we can't put him in the same category as other artists, he flies free as a lone ranger! who cares about the pronunciation tho', he could sing in gibberish and I'd still click to watch him make sense of it with his voice. Thanks ChristofChapsis!

Hello , Dimash is unique , it's on another level , and just like this song , it has others , especially in Chinese that can be heard on a playlist . But Dimash is Dimash, he doesn't intend to switch to commercial songs, he never loses the essence of him. This song is competing in the Billboard, like "Be with me" , "Screaming" .Hopefully reactions to "Ikanaide".

Agree. Dimash works hard on developing his multi-lingual skills as well as all other aspects of his craft. When you consider that he starts with virtually no language & therefore must be committing to memory every part of every word phonetically - with exceedingly few errors - Yes, it IS phenomenal. Of course having the most finely tuned perfect pitch helps a bit ! 🤣 { For eg; his recent performance of Ikanaide in Japanese. Japanese Reactors are saying his pronunciation is perfect, & yet - stand to be corrected- but I don't think he has much spoken Japanese langUage yet. } 👋👋👋
