Most have already answered your question, as a non Fillipino US mega Morissette fan (no ties to the Philippines). I have noticed her detractors say she is not popular. Others there say she is rising. I've been all about her for over two years, I still run into people in comment sections from the Philippines, that just discovered her! She blew this straight out of the atmosphere. Zara Larsson was at the same festival and just about knocked Morissette down running to hug her after being blown back by this set. The biggest compliment was when the original singers of Secret Love Song, Little Mix, stumbled on this very performance on RU-vid and lost their minds! Tagging Morissette in an IG story while watching it and one of the members has been following her in IG since! Morissettes Wish bus performance of Secret Love Song just hit 100million views. All I can say is the sky is the limit with this girl!

Hello! Great reaction! In regards to your questions: 1) Is she popular in the Philippines only or in the entire Asia? If she was popular then before performing here at the festival in Busan, So Korea then she gained more fans and popularity because of this performance. In fact, she was invited the following year, 2018 to perform again. But as of today, I noticed that because of youtube and other media her rise is going steadily as evidenced in her original song Akin Ka Na Lang being covered by other singers from various countries to include one from UK. Her concerts abroad also show a varied audience demographic, i.e., there are a lot of Filipinos but then there are also reactors like you and those who have heard and seen her perform on youtube or TV that had gone the extra mile to watch her show. Time will tell whether she's going to be a global phenomenon; Rhett Lawrence, a U.S. producer is grooming her for better and bigger things to come so we all just have to wait and see. 2) Was Morissette the only performer from the Philippines or maybe someone else that also was invited to this music festival in Korea? Morissette was the lone representative from the Philippines. The staff of this festival must have liked her performance and the reception she received from the audience (although you really can't tell that from watching this video, LOL) that they decided to invite her again for the 2018 festival, same festival and venue.

Because of reaction channels and vocal fans channel, maybe some from the west too. To answer your 2nd question, she's the only Filipina Singer invited that year and the following year. And she's the only non-korean performer that was invited twice.
