Actually this is when she gained the title "ASIAS PHOENIX" after she sang in that festival Hehe...

Its amazing how stable her voice while dancing others would be gasping for breath..she is xmen 😃

That whistle note in (last sing) in Asia Song Festival 2017, she hits C7's there along with A7's, E7's and G7's and "full dophin" that was not a break in the note was too high for Us to hear....You slow it down and enhance it....and use a note recognizer ..was one solid note ..that last whistle was complete

The best singer performer in the world imo. Gives me goosebumps every time.

She showcased every fibre of her being in this performance. Her vocals didn’t falter as she went on. In fact, she kept going and she took it home by the end. I did wish her whistles were cleaner and sharper in the end but that’s just me. It’s rare to find someone who’s as seasoned as Morissette these days.

Glad you reacted on her first asian song festival 2017 which leads her to be back on 2018. Many were wishing her to be back on 2019 or 2020 but Korean organizers given her twice exposure already which is not very common for an artist outside Korea. This performance of Morissette was epic! The first performance I've seen of hers which I keep repeating and I fell in love again and again...

I've seen somewhere in RU-vid that Morissette got voted to MTV Friday Livestream's Most Requested Artist twice since last week now if I'm not mistaken. I've also read somewhere that she's probably the only one who has clinched top spot on a debut on that show. For fans of hers who aren't aware of it yet, you may vote for her to help her keep her place in the rankings. I don't know the details on how to vote but there's this video from a channel named Stan Morissette where I think it's explained.

I finally found someone that is as impressed by that whistle flip thing she did between songs. No other reactor I've watched even gave it a passing glance. So thank you for that. I felt badly for her because I know she felt she could have done better on the ending whistles. I figure what she just put her voice through getting there may have taken a little smoothness from her usual effort. Did you know that she is the only singer to ever be invited to sing s second time at The Asia Song Festival? So not only is she the only one invited back, but in consecutive years. She is so very special a talent. I doubt you'll ever read this as I'm comment 315, but in case you do, you remind me of someone I used to hang out with back when I was about you age and since I'm 70 now, I'm pretty sure it's not you, but she had that same easy going way about her. We were quite the talk of the town for awhile . In the early 70's there weren't that many Black and White friends let alone a couple. She was beautiful and I was a short skinny little White guy. But I was funny and relatively smart and she was damn smart so for awhile we did fine. But I have a shelf life I was to find out as life continued, but she finally moved on. It hurt even though I knew it wasn't a forever kind of thing. I knew she would find somebody better. Still..... So there you have it my seeming habit to be in star-crossed relationships my whole life. Oh well somebody has to be the poor soul that just never get's it right, and that is me to a Tee. That just an old expression meaning something describes something perfectly. Now that you know more about me than my parents and sisters ever did, I say ado.

It's such a huge stage to fill. I find it impressive that despite having to move around a lot to be more animated onstage to compensate for the lack of background dancers, her vocals were still stable especially having to deal with a Mariah song that's taxing and monstrously difficult. I guess singing while on a treadmill paid off well for her lol. I personally liked the Secret Love Song Wish Bus version better.

You are so smart and correct.. Most singers do sing ok on recording studio when they just take line by line and connect those lines they made to make it called a song (i hope this make sense). but when they sing it live it’s totally so different.. So I actually appreciate singers and respect them a lot when they do real singing on live like Morisette, Regine Velasquez, Charice, Katrina Velarde, Celine dion, Whitney houston and etc.. Do you also know that When regine velasquez record a song, she just do 1 or 2 session (sing the song once or twice) and add it to album.
