Hello there, Butter already has tons of live performances so it would make sense to analyze that rather than an mv but here we are ;) BTS have had amazing performances lately, such as: Tiny Desk performance; BTS Room LIVE, a medley of their songs through the years, a fun showcase of the group's range; MTV Unplugged ( 5 songs incl. the cover of Coldplay's Fix You, gets blocked on youtube though, you can just leave the audio in the reaction); BBC Radio1 Live lounge (3 songs incl. the cover of Puff Daddy and Faith Evans' I'll be Missing You); Jimmy Fallon BTS week, especially Idol, Black Swan and Home; also live performances of their Japanese tracks Film Out and Your Eyes Tell. Take your time and enjoy. BTS has a lot to offer, they've been around since 2013, their catalogue is massive (almost 300 songs incl.solo projects, different genres, styles, number of singers in a song even), they write and produce their music, and they're genuinely good people :)

I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on their live performances. A few good options are: - Their recent BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge for which they performed 3 songs with a live band (Dynamite, Permission to Dance and a cover of I'll Be Missing You) - Their NPR Tiny Desk concert during which they performed 3 songs (Dynamite, Save Me, Spring Day) - BTS Live Room 2021 Festa - This is a medley of 9 of their songs from 2013-2021 so you get to hear their different styles/genres

They trained very hard to sing in English especially the main singer Jungkook. He opened all their English songs. He had also sang a full song in English for Steve Aoki on "Waste It On Me" couple of years back. For the singing and dancing it is easy peasey for them since they have done it for 8 years (excluding the training period). Kpop idols arent only talented but they work really hard. They have my respect.

If you think this is good, you REALLY need to check out one of their live performances. They sing LIVE while dancing and the choreo for Butter is pretty simply for BTS. They SHINE in their live performances. :)

You mentioned one of them having a deep voice. This group has a baritone, tenors and countertenor. Don't often hear that in pop music but it brings some unique qualities to their harmonies and songs.

BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan which means Bulletproof boy scouts) is a group from South Korea with 7 members. The group just celebrated 8th anniversary. - 4 vocalists, 3 rappers - their fans are called the A.R.M.Y. (adorable representative M.C. of youth) - they have so many different genres (pop, ballads, rap, hi-hop, R&B...) so we say that BTS is its own genre - they have songs called, Permission to dance, Dynamite and Butter which are their only full english songs but in every song there are always some phrases in english - they're writing their own lyrics (sometimes with help of people from their company) - in their songs they're talking about so many important topics! (self love, bullying, social economic injustices, hard work, following your dreams, female empowerment and so so so so much more) - turn on the captions when youre reacting to them - most of the songs which seem like they have lyrics about romantic relationship, they are actually about love within themselves or for their fans - you dont have to be worry about copyrights, their company dont care most of the time, there are some japanese songs and videos which are getting copyrighted but not those type of stuff or live performances - there are possitions in the group - highest is MAIN then LEAD and last is SUB MEMBERS: (in Korea, last name comes first) Kim Namjoon Stage name: RM - main rapper, leader - can also sing pretty well, has a deep voice Kim Seokjin Stage name: Jin - vocalist, visual, oldest (28, in Korea 29) - one of two members who has the widest renges in the group Min Yoongi Stage name: Suga Solo stage name: Agust D - lead rapper - taking vocal lessons lately Jung Hoseok Stage name: J-hope - lead rapper, sub vocalist, main dancer - sings the most out of the 3 rappers Park Jimin Stage name: Jimin - lead vocalist, main dancer - his voice is the highest, unique tone Kim Taehyung Stage name: V (stands for victory) - lead dancer, vocalist - has the lowest tone of the vocal line, one of two members who has the widest renges, unique tone Jeon Jungkook Stage name: Jungkook - sub rapper, main vocalist, lead dancer, youngest (23, in Korea 24) - best in having stable vocals while dancing, does a lot of adlibs, used to rap in older songs All of them are also producers, songwritters and composers but the rappers are the main ones. They all have solo songs, some of them have their own mixtapes and all of them are amazing dancers. Rappers can sing pretty well when they're not goofing around and the same goes for vocalists and rap. BTS is not a typical boyband in that they each contribute to writing their lyrics, producing their music and all give input in the MV production as well. Please do a reaction to ‘ON' Kinetic Manifesto Film. It’s from their Map of The Soul 7 album. To give you a brief background about this album, it’s based on the world famous psychotherapist, Carl Jung’s components of personality. The lyrics reference this as they talk about coming to terms with their repressed personality traits (shadows) and their personas. The lyrics are absolutely insane and JK’s (Lead Vocal) high notes in the solo part are crazy. BTW, your eyes will thank you when you see their dancing capabilities as well.

Subbed! Love your video editing style and how open you are to music. This is like BTS's 2nd English song, so this isn't their usual style ( and really doesn't show how good they are). Their Korean songs are better in my opinion and they have deep lyrics. Hope you guys react to more BTS. These 7 boys are absolute powerhouses.

One thing is a shame for all the folks that have joined the BTS ARMY since they broke through with Dynamite in 2020: none of them have seen BTS live. RM has said, "BTS is a performance group," and having seen them live myself in 2019 before the pandemic, I absolutely agree, in concert is where they are at their best. A standout live you could react to (or just watch for fun) is their 14 minute long performance at the Melon Music Awards in 2018. But I warn you, in the fandom, we all talk about "going down the rabbit hole," which may happen to you if you watch more than just a couple of their videos. Once you decide to learn their names, you are gone like Alice and you won't come out for months.

One thing to note! None of them were aspiring to be singers! I find that so cool. Most of them were dancers or rappers and most, if not all, had almost no experience singing before joining BTS. They are amazing dancers srsly, but to think that they've grown so much in terms of singing throughout the years is so inspiring

PLS DO MORE BTS! They are more then what people see pls do "introduction to bts" by xcelest to get to know what they do and who they are before getting into more music. You won't be disappointed, they also write and create they own music and had to start from the bottom. They worked really hard, they company was really poor so they work together, they talk about mental health, youth and other important stuff that other artists don't, pls do more of them.
