Both Winter and Ningning are official main vocalists of AESPA. When Aespa entered Weverse in September last year, it was documented in the member profile. SM confirmed that Winter is a main vocalist of AESPA along with NINGNING. Before that, there was no official position.

I like the fact that Winter and Wendy are kind of labeled as vocal sisters here. As expected Winter is SM hidden ace but I recently discovered that Wendy actually debuted with vocal nodules and do pull off the iconic "shine on me" is absolutely amazing. It's amazing that although Winter is in her 2nd year and Wendy is in her 9th I feel like we are yet to see their full potential. In the future I would love to see them on a track together probably r&b but I wouldn't mind a ballad too

While most international fans in twitter mock Taeyeon and make fun of her bring back issues from more than a decade ago to attack her, You should watch more clips from people in Korean industry, composers, critics, lyricists, even producers outside SM and you will notice how are they mostly a fan of TAEYEON. The rest of these hyped idols are fan driven success by mass bulk buy and stream, Taeyeon is still one of the very very few authentic recognized in the industry and Kpop.

I really like winter's vocal tone and colour and that makes her standout more for me. the way you can never tell which voice would she use when singing a song makes it exciting too. she can hit those high notes and slay those low tones in the same song and would slay both and the fact that she can do that live too. I love the comments about WENDY. Although I feel like SM have yet to maximize her full potential. Obviously, with her powerful voice, she’s good with ballads. But SM keeps on locking her to that genre only (except on group songs) when she could actually do ALL genres the she wants, especially r&b. It's fascinating how WINTER is able to use different styles and tones to match the vibe of different songs she sings Her vocal ability is so unique and she is so versatile with her voice unlike the others who sing in the same tone WINTER is definitely one of the best and most talented vocalists of this generation and fun fact is she got scouted by SM for her dance skills and only started training as a vocalist after she got into SM! I can't wait for her to release a Solo album! She's not just the Main vocalist but also a Visual ACE!

There's just something unique about Winter's vocal tone. Emotions are there, can easily hit high notes, voice control is insane. Top main vocalist not only in sm but also in 4th gen. I dont follow other kpop generations so I wouldnt know but to think that shes here with top vocalist from their respective gens already says a lot.

I'm glad they praise Wendy's powerful, technical voice. We know that she is the best vocalist of the 3rd gen. However, I feel like she hasn't shown her true potential yet, her company has stagnated her for so long, therefore i can't wait for her next album, i need her album to explore other concepts, such as the R&B genre because she has it in her blood. If SM will bet on her and promote her properly as theirs other artists, I'm really sure that she'll succeed in the american market, Not for nothing, but I prefer her pre-debut style whe she didn't have the vibes of SM. Sincerely whichever path Wendy chooses I will support her :)
