Normally I see people call vocaloid realistic and they're overstating it. But... this is pretty close... I might not have been able to tell if I hadnt been told. The voicebank being very good obvs helps with this. The tone changes as the range changes, the voice texture tapers correctly to note length, there's very few artifacts, the voiceless sounds come though well, the vibrato is subtle and well suited to the voice. Absolutely wild.
Whether I choose to sing or use another vocal synth to cover is entirely up to my singing capabilities and preference. Most vocaloid songs are out of my range; even if I put it an octave lower it's sometimes too low. And some are difficult to sing. So I mostly do vocal synth covers.
It sounds amazing, but I want to know what it would sound like with a very fast song, like “The intense voice of Hatsune Miku.” I just want to know if it sounds human like still or if it’s changed because of the speed.
THIS IS THE ONLY VOCALOID SONG THAT I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO 100% TELL IT FROM A HUMAN SINGING OH MY GOD- so a human controlling a robot sounds like a robot but a robot controlling a robot sounds like a human?? is this a double negative???
Personaly I preffer the classic sound. I've heard some other AI tuned songs and it's kinda too smooth y'know? The hardness and the intensive quality of the voices get kinda lost.
Personally I'm a sucker for realistic sounding voices. I've always loved orchestral arranges of songs so when a computer can sound like a real human it makes me very happy :)
her voice isn't robotic but i dont really hear the "realism" comments are talking about. her tone (if im using the word correctly) is very consistent. it sounds like most of the song was done while she was holding her breath. honestly, it sounds like how i would sing if a song wasn't meant for my voice. she's singing but there's no emotion. she barely sounds "human."
Hmm... I think I get what you're saying? I think she sounds VERY "human", but the lack of pauses or breaths throws it off a little. Her pitch is verrrryyy monotonous through the whole thing though imo, normally their would be more of a shift in the different notes. Then again, I've never heard the original song before. That being said, she DOES sound like she's more reciting a song a teacher taught than "feeling it"
Yeah, I can definitely hear the "human" resemblance, but she sounds emotionless af, so it practically kills the purpose of AI. Real people give power and meaningfulness to the songs, and that can only be achieved on synths if YOU play with the tuning and parameters.
the smoothness is human like, yes, but you are right about the tone she has. It still sounds relatively realistic to me (and I do have a trained ear) but yes it is missing a big chunk, that I doubt voice software will ever have.
I think, no matter who is the producer, that all the voicebanks of the SynthV sounds so realistic. Your tuning with Saki is really good, Tora, keep going ! Je continuerai d'écouter ce que tu fais ! XD
I'm honestly in shock I did not expect it to sound this human, you can may be tell if you know what you are looking for but wow this is next level polish :0
My little sister has been a fan of vocaloid for like three years, and she loves shinkai shoujo. I had her listen to this. When i showed her that it was a program, and not a person, she was absolutely shocked.
Personally i really like that little bit near the mid-end that sounded more robotic. Gives it a little flair and i still like being able to hear, in some way, that the singer isnt actually human
Ok... My jaw just dropped. Last time I used Synth V was months ago, it was a good program and it's plus was it was easy to use for me. And now, with what I hear in this song, it has become the best...
