Here at VocaTone and PowerFX we are delighted to announce: Oliver, the very first English VOCALOID3! Oliver is a collaboration project between companies PowerFX, and a brand new company, VocaTone!

Damn. I remember being 8 years old and exited for this, it's weird to see old comments from back in the day doing all kinds of theories about how would Oliver sound and look. Really good times wow

His hat reminds me of a mariner's hat... or maybe one of those adorable British school boys. Anyways, I love it! Will any of the English vocaloids have last names? Or is that up to us?

I would rather like a voice whish fits to swedish death metal (like a voice of anders friden of the 2002 - 2004 years) , with the possibility to sing in crowls and to use heavy death metal shouts... the option to combine that bad ass type of death metal singer with hagane Mikus voice.. and let BOTH hagane miku AND the Death Metal guy sing in Japanese... i would pay 500 Bucks.. i would probably pay my sooul..

with the bird he kinda looks like a mini Prussia(hetalia XD) But I've been very excited for him, and I went fangirling when I saw his demo, no doubt he will be an amazing vocaloid~

@CryptOpheliac This is not Oliver's design. This is just a preview picture of it. He does have character art on the way. However, you don't have to worry. His box art is not along the lines of, "sex sells." It's very modest.

@StrngO3o No, sorry. The bird was put in the art just to balance it out a bit more. That's the only reason for it being there. Though people seem to be really intrigued by it... 8P

@Aunpaidintern Don't worry, it's not Bieber. XD I'm one of the people who made Oliver. (the art in that video as well as his character art is mine) Nothing about his voice type as been confirmed, so he could be a young man, he could be an older man, or he could be a little kid. No one outside of VocaTone knows for sure yet. But trust me when I say that it's not Bieber. 8P

I'm trying to make my own virtual singer and its own software (not vocaloid or UTAU).. VocaTone kinda scares me.. Although I'm also kinda exited.. This is weird xD I can also not say much about Bendroid yet.. Aahhhh just ignore me..

Hey, just noticed something. Other then Lui all known vocaloid3 vocaloids are girls. So with Oliver coming out it makes things...less...girly? Eh. Also I thought PowerFX based there vocaloids off of monsters like Sweet Ann(frankinstein's bride) and Big-Al(frankinstein). So Oliver might be based of (based on the bird and an army hat) a military soldier? I thought a werewolf, a vampire, a swam monster, a mummy or something would work better. I'm still looking forward to his reveal :).
