Song Title: Scarborough Fair Song: Simon and Garfunkel VSQX/Mixing: Anders Sodergren Artwork: Lawlietlk Oliver was created by VocaTone and is being distributed by PowerFX
It's nice to see Oliver singing a song like this one instead of the pop songs most people use him for. Oliver has a beatiful voice that much more potential than singing the latest hits.
He's like the Vocaloid "that lives in the real world" because he doesn't have this futuristic, out-of-this-world clothing... unless that bird is a transformer.
@UmbrellaMaiden And the fact that he's a young boy wearing a different variation of a sailer suit and has a British accent. To be honest, there's nothing else to compare except their personalities. Which you can't do.
@Cartoonothing Well, if they moved to the UK, Oliver could grow up aquiring the accent (kids pick things up easier then adults). Or alternatively he was "made" for them in PowerFX labs. Their all monster themed.
Hmm... I love the idea of Vocaloid 3 but I'm really worried about the original vocaloids... I love them so much, I don't want them to be replaced or forgotten... Especially not LEN! Oliver sounds like a newer Len but... I love Len! I don't want to give him up! Especially not for Oliver!
Must there be a Hetalia reference on EVERY FXXKING VOCALOID VIDEO? Last time I checked, Hetalia and Vocaloid weren't related, so keep the fan comments in their appropriate spots. On the other hand, Oliver is sooo adorable.(And does not sound ANYTHING like Len, or any other Vocaloid for that matter) I can't wait for more. :D
@Maxgabbymeow13 you do not have to worry about that Len and Rin's main market is in Japan. their markets only overlap a little and that will be the case even if CFM adds an English append to him because of the other existing Engloids are being joined by about 5 more including a Celtic themed one. none of which affects Len's primary market and fan base which consists of Japan and a few weaboos elsewhere.
I love how the first top comment's like "Hey, Oliver's Oliver, stop comparing him to Len and Sealand!" and the second top comment's like "He's like Sealand from Hetalia!" XD
@docfeelgood777 We have Bruno in the Spanloids coming if anything. Zero-G has thei Celtic Vocaloids planned (male and female, females coming first) and you can import V2s into V3. Plus the rule of the thumb, more so with J-loids, is males don't sell as well though with Engloids its more "a pair sells better". Hence we have "Leon and Lola", "Prima and Tonio" and "Sweet Ann and Big Al". CFM started out as this too with "Meiko and Kaito". Then came Miku... :-/
@flipnoteBlueStar Dunno if you are just talking about the accent or not. Just in case though: Oliver joins Lola, Leon, Miriam, Prima, Tonio, Big Al and Sweet Ann as the latest English Vocaloid. Luka is a Japanese Vocaloid with an English voice bank and is being joined by Miku, Kaito and just possibly Meiko as dual Japanese/ English capable Vocaloids. If you did not know this then i have made your day and if you did know then sorry for misunderstanding you. :)
@Maxgabbymeow13 I don't think there's much chance of the older VOCALOIDS being replaced. 8P Especially since they can all be ported into VOCALOID3. So you have nothing to worry about~ C: Also, who says you have to choose one over the other? 8P I don't see why you can't like both Oliver and Len.
Why must Hetalia fans always compare Vocaloids to Hetalia characters? :U He's nothing like Sealand, except the hair colour, hat and blue colour scheme. And can't you just love Len and Oliver equally, without comparing who you "love" the most or feeling sorry for Len? (Len's got another thousands fangirls anyway..)
@dooliedoode11 In my iTunes. XD It was made when he was still in development, so it's not something I can release. But I might be able to ask one of my coworkers to re-create it.
@EmilyLightning do you ever know what english singers say when they are singing soft??? No, you don't. Unlesss you have ungodly hearing. And frankly, I can hear some of what he is saying, and all of it when I look at the lyrics. They don't suck. oliver sounds amazing~~~
@dappleback ASDFGHJKL Please do! Oliver's got probably the best pronunciation out of PFX's Vocaloids. And I'm sure as hell buying him when he's out. :]
I can hear Oliver a lot better in this demo but I can't understand a word he says compared to the Circus Monster demo. Maybe that's just because I know the words to Cirus Monster without trouble but I'd like to be able to understand what he said without having to read along with the song.
He's sounds great and I prefer him to kagamine Len because he sounds more male but he sounds like other English vocaloids; choppy if not used right/ edited
