Editing this was a lot of fun. It kept me up hella late, but I refused to stop editing until it was solid.
This video is a dope measure of my improvement.
When I first recorded $litherin' Through Life, I wasn't at the level to even consider doing all screams on this song. I was just starting to practice vocals I'd run out of breath too quickly, I was just a newbie.
I'm definitely still a newbie, vocals still need work, and I gotta consider that my song is only like 2 minutes, so stamina also will need work. But there's definite improvement, now I can scream through the entire track alternating highs and lows or whatever. One of the most beautiful things about life is seeing progress across time and getting to see/feel improvement.
I also now have a general idea of how to edit vocals post recording (maybe some call it mixing vocals?) because raw vocals are rough LOL I Anyone who has recorded themselves singing a song before will know exactly what I'm talking about here.
