Kirstie sounds exactly like a Disney princess. She did The Frozen Medley with Superfruit and she sounds incredible there too.

Wonderful reaction! The soprano hitting those high notes is Kate Lott. She is other-worldly. But Voctave is like Pentatonix in that everyone in the group is a world class talent. Kirstie and Jeremy were engaged when they recorded this performance, but they later broke up and did not get married. Keep going, I am thoroughly enjoying your reactions!

This was Voctave's coming-out video. They existed a little before this, but teaming Kirstin's name recognition with Voctave was a genius move. Millions came to hear Kirstin and wound up die-hard Voctave fans!

Kirstin really is a Disney princess, no doubt about it. During her time off last year from PTX she performed a role on Broadway in the production of Kinky Boots (not at the same time as Brendan Urie, unfortunately). She has a tremendous vocal range, going from a rich, sultry contralto to sweet, soaring soprano high notes. Check out her lead in PTX cover of "Rather Be" and "Where are You Christmas?". She and Scott also killed the cover they did of "Shallow" from A Star is Born. And not to ignore Voctave, these are tremendous talents, love to listen to them. Best!

Since you liked this performance by Voctave I HIGHLY recommend 'Oh Come, All Ye Faithful' and 'The Impossible Dream'. Both are absolutely phenomenal. They have such an amazing array of brilliant and beautiful voices.

The human voice is the most amazing instrument there is. Especially when blended together with all the different parts. Just incredible.

Well her and Scott went to High School out in Arlington Texas about 30 min from here. They were in their school Choir and that is where you sing traditional music. I went to see them for their Christmas concert.

I'd love to see you react to Telephone (live) by Pentatonix. This is something that Scott, Mitch and Kirstie performed together back in high school and then they re-arranged to include Avi and Kevin for their audition for the Sing Off. It was the first song they performed together. The audition isn't published anywhere that I've seen, but they've gone back and performed Telephone all together at some of their live shows, and it's amazing. For more of the side projects that various members have done, I'd recommend Renegade by Kevin (more celloboxing!), Sweet Adeline by Avi Kaplan, and The Frozen Medley (Superfruit joined by Kirstie). Thanks for reacting! It's always a joy to watch. Also, an explanation about the headphones thing: I totally get not being able to afford/access headphones right now. I'll just say that when/if you eventually do have some, you should definitely re-listen to all the acapella music you've gone through, because it's amazing how much of the bass sound, which is already so impressive in a lot of the songs, just can't make it to your ears without the headphones. You don't need to try to re-react, just listen to them all again on your own to get the full experience. I used to listen to this music without headphones too, and it still sounded great, but then I tried it with headphones and realized how much I was actually missing out on. People who are being insistent about it are just wanting you to get the full amazingness of the bass sounds underlying things, that it's so easy to not realize you're missing since it already sounds so impressive. Keep at it for now without, but if you get the opportunity at some point, be prepared to have an awesome time discovering how much more impressive the bass really is in the different acapella songs you've been hearing.

Kate Lott is a Soprano like no other. If you ever get the chance to come to EPCOT Center (Disney), many of them including Kate sing in a group at the American Adventure (can find their vids on RU-vid). Look for the Voices of Liberty.

I doubt you will even see this comment now as this video is over a year old and you have many more newer ones with plenty of comments to sort through I know but I just recently ran across your channel and subscribed because of Voctave who are one of my most favorite groups of the many that I have lol. But I have watched your reactions to them over and over again because they are so genuine and authentic, that and I am from the States, Kentucky, and I love to listen to your accent lol. But I did notice that you seemed to have stopped reacting to Voctave after the two that you did unless I'm missing other videos somewhere but I've searched while watching some of your other videos as well and didn't see any more. But hopefully you will get a chance to go back to them, they have so many newer songs now that I think you would also enjoy, one in particular is called "You Will Be Found" which they did with a Virtual Choir during quarantine, which I have heard consisted of 1000 people if I have heard correctly. It's from the musical Dear Evan Hansen I believe if I am remembering correctly and is an absolutely beautiful song that will really tug at your heartstrings. So hopefully you will get a notification about this comment or something and it will remind you of Voctave, not that you've forgotten them but I know that you get so many suggestions and requests probably that it's hard to get around to everyone and you can get into new artists and others can just slip the mind for a minute until your attention is brought back for some reason lol. Until then I will keep watching these 2 reactions because I love them, they are priceless!

Oh, son... all the Voctave. Seriously, ALL the Voctave. Additionally, check out Home Free (warning, if you start reacting to them routinely us Home Fries will show up to your channel in droves!), and Voiceplay. Home Free has far too many good songs, both originals and covers of many genres, to give a good cross-section sampling here. I'd recommend jumping over to their channel and scrolling until something catches your eye. For Voiceplay I'd recommend starting with "Queen in 5 Minutes," or "Oogie Boogie's Song."
